I received my passport with visa and CoPR today. Planning to do the landing over the weekend. Whoever is waiting for MR/PPR, hang in there. You will hear good news soon.

Congratulations!

finally recieved our PPR yesterday night around 11.30PM...such a big relief....words can express our feelings....i have couple of questions.. i need suggestions

in the email CIC asked to send all the passports in one mail package...problem is ...my wife lives in another country and i am not able to send our passport togather unless i have her passport mailed to me and then send both togather to ottawa...

in the email CIC also mentions that to contact them if any of us is living out of north america and unable to send passport to ottawa ..they will make arrengement to have the PR visa sticker put in at the responsible VFS oversease

which will be the best and fastest option.... have my wife mail by ups the passport to me and then send both passports togather to cic..once i get back i will have to send hers back to her... or..... send only mine to cic and have my wifes passport sent to VFS/canadian embassy after CIC makes arrengement.

Please anyone advise. thanks a lot for all the help i got from here from all the wonderful people. Thanks a lot

Hi,

Finally, i am planning to land in next week (currently in India). Hence booked tickets and planning to complete landing at port of entry. I have collected all the documents as per info gathered from this forum. Documents are

1. Passports (Visa till 20th May)
2. COPR
3. Birth Certificates
4. Marriage Certificate
5. Educational Certificates
6. Items Declerations (Items bringing to Canada, 2 lists one items accompanying and another one items to follow for Duty exemption)

Anything else do i need? I will be staying at friend's place, so i will give the same address for PR Card. Later my friend will arrange to send it to me.

Any inputs or points to take care from those who have completed landing?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you iam_toby and all the others who has helped me knowingly or unknowingly. It was one hell of a journey... Still not through but I guess I can relax :)

All the best for those who are still waiting for their PPRs and Landing.

Cheers.

You're most welcome! :) And the new ECAS status is great news for sure. If you haven't received an email from CIC
about the rejection so far, you're all set and you'll get the CoPR or PPR soon!!

If you're from a visa exempt country, the CoPR will be mailed and you will not get the passport request.
If you require a visa to enter Canada, you get the PPR.

^Toby probably wasn't sure if your passport is visa-exempt, hence you get CoPR by mail automatically.

oh i see :) ... am waiting for the PPR patiently .... its hard to be patient but no other option ... its just there are few of us from each month (June, July, Aug) who are waiting & waiting & waiting :( ... trying to forget about it & go on with our lives but so hard to plan anything coz it all depends on it ..

hope to hear soon ...

That's true.
I'm also a July applicant (July 3), and just today, got my new passport and applied for BOWP online since my WP expires in Aug and I need to travel in June (my Visa expires in June).

mine expires end of this month, ill wait until the end of nxt week & apply for the BOWP ... i have applied for so many WP, SP, & visas and i am tired of it ... i was hoping i will not have to do it again :( ... i have been here for 10 years

I'll start to get anxious when it enters the 13th month this June.
Most of the time though, good news arrive when you least expect it.
