Corp arrived finally !!

One question here: I can do the landing tomorrow but after I finish the landing process, before I get the PR card, can I leave Canada for a week and reenter without my PR card?
Congrats. I think you can't leave by Air.

Yes, you can leave Canada. If you drive a car to the US, you can use your CoPR for coming back. But it doesn't work if yo travel by air (unless you're from visa exempt country). If you're going to fly, you will need a travel document on your way back.

Hi,

My timelines are below.

Application Received: July 19 2013

AOR: Sep 18 2013

Medicals Requested: Feb 28 2014

RPRF and BioData Requested: March 4 2014

Wife RCMP requested: March 4 2014

Medicals Done: March 11 2014

Medicals sent: March 18 2014

Wife RCMP received at CIC Ottawa: March 14 2014

RPRF and BioData Sent: March 11 2014

Medicals received in E-cas status: Third line reflected on April 6 2014.

Can anyone some shed some light On when I can expect PPR??

Also If medicals have been received appears in E-cas does that mean Medicals are accepted and what is the nest stage after this ??

Regards,
Dilanko

Anyone knows do we have to wait 3 months for new OHIP card activation if we already carry it before becoming PR? Current card (based on PGWP) is valid far beyond those 3 months

They told me if you go to the "full" Service Ontario, your coverage will begin right away. This applies to applicants who were on PGWP.

It is hard to gauge when you'll receive PPR. I would think it would be in the next few weeks. They are probably processing the PCC and in the process of completing security/criminality checks. These could take anywhere from weeks to months, which is what makes it hard to gauge.

No, "Medicals received" on ecas does not necessarily mean that they are accepted. It just means that CIC received the results and may or may not have processed it yet.

Hang in there, you're almost at the finish line. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I guess I have to go back to my hometown before I do the landing.

Don't worry, be patient, you will get it soon. I am waiting from about 2 months after they received my Medicals.

Yes, rainbow bridge is right next to the falls. You can walk there.

You can go to the US border without a US visa and tell them you're completing your Canadian immigration today or just tell them you want to "flagpole". They'll give you an admin refusal slip and let you turn around to the Canadian border where you can land.
