A bank statement is not required, but recommended. Doesn't matter how much you have sitting
in your account, simply bring a statement so you can show it if you're asked for it.
I just talk time my lawyer and he said no need of bank statement but if you are still working in Canada you can carry your latest pay stub as a proof.

Thanks to all for helping each other through out the process.
BEST WISHES FOR BETTER LIFE AND GOOD LOOK TO THOSE WHO ARE STILL GOING THROUGH PROCESS.

NOW I HAVE A QUESTION:
1.HOW LONG IT TAKE O GET PR CARD
2.DO I HAVE TO APPLY FOR MEDICAL CARD(OHIP) OR IT WILL COME AUTOMATICALLY TO MY ADDRESS AFTER 3 MONTHS.

THANKS

Officially it takes 6-8 weeks. But average time is around 52-59 calendar days, from what I'm reading on this forum.

You will need to visit your nearest Service Ontario and apply for a health card. It takes 3 months for the coverage to activate and to receive your health card.

In addition, you will need to visit your nearest Service Canada, and apply for a new permanent SIN. Your temporary SIN (assuming you had one), and new permanent SINs will be linked.

There's two options. (#1) Wait for the RPRF request, or (#2)go ahead and pay it, then send them the receipt.

Hi Toby,

After almost 20 days after my medical test, I haven't yet received my RPRF/Biodata, so I have paid it online today and sending the receipt to following email:

CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Could you please confirm if you know this is the correct email.

To be on the safe side, I would also send the receipt to the email I mentioned in this post.

Good luck!

Send it to CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca as well

Thanks Toby and Maxim, I have sent it to both the email ids.

Corp arrived finally !!

One question here: I can do the landing tomorrow but after I finish the landing process, before I get the PR card, can I leave Canada for a week and reenter without my PR card?

Anyone knows do we have to wait 3 months for new OHIP card activation if we already carry it before becoming PR? Current card (based on PGWP) is valid far beyond those 3 months
