i have some questions was wondering if anyone can help. i am a July applicant. my application was received on July 8th, 2013. this is the 2nd time i am applying as my 2012 application was refused for not providing ref letter from previous employer. i am seeing some case here that application was refused because case officer did not count the work experience gained during implied status. my time lines are:
started working at current employer April 18th, 2012....sent my application on July 2nd, 2013. ref letter was issued to me from employer dated may 31, 2013. in between i was on vacation for 1 month and got married. also was on implied status for about month and half. so about 2.5 month they might not count. i regularly work 44 hours a week. my questions are...
1. till when CPP will count my work experience...when the ref letter was issued? or when i signed my application which is July 2nd, 2013
2. Up to how many hours will they count a week... 40? 44? or 37.5? how many hours needed for July applicants in total a year to meet the requirement for CEC

i am not sure should i get a new updated ref letter from my employer with latest date (nothing has changed at my work) and send it or just withdraw my application and re-apply...or shouldn't worry about it at all....please advice. thanks

hi all:

i requested for GCMS notes and got them in today:

Criminality : in Progress
Eligibility:Not Started

Please remind me how to order the notes on the file. I notice it is now an electronic form. Which items should I select? I applied in July but just curious to see whazzzup with cic and moi file

Access to information vs. privacy act?
Electronic files vs. physical files?
Which records case files or corporate records? ( I know that one may be obvious but with cic you never know....)
anything else?

many thanks
wan

Go to my website http://cectoolkit.weebly.com/ and look for a link called 'About GCMS and how to apply' on the canadavisa
links page. There's also a youtube video below that link with instructions.

Thanks @iam_toby, two questions still outstanding after reading the link and watching you tube video (video directed at those not in canada)

1) Electronic file or physical file? (what's the difference?)
2) Privacy act if in Canada and Access to info if a 3 rd party doing it for you?
3) If I want to see the info for my partner as well, do I have to send another applications separately?

I was thinking to upload a consent from partner to release their info. Back in the day of paper copy they asked for such a consent when couple applied

cheers

1) An electronic file will consist of your GCMS notes. A physical file will be scanned pages of all the documents in your application.
2) If you're in Canada, use the Privacy Act. The Access to Information act also costs $5.
3) You don't have to send a separate application for your spouse. Use the consent form (IMM 5744). There is a link to it here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/DEPARTMENT/atip/requests-personal.asp

Even from TRACKITT, i could see the latest MR for mar 2013 only.

AFAIK, the latest MR is for April 2013 applicant.
