AOR is received via email, in case you provided CIC with a valid email address on your IMM 0008 form. If you have a
typo in that field, you will never get the AOR.
If you don't put an email address in that field, CIC will mail your the AOR to your mailing address.
I hope my lawyers email address is right.because I haven't received my aor yet its been 4 months

Guys I can't thank you enough. I found it (AOR) in my spam emails. Got it September 3rd! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That's the reason why it's recommended to add '@cic.gc.ca' to your safe-sender list.

Well, I too had the same question. As July 2013 applicants when can we expect our medicals?? I have seen that some people got rejections after 2-3 months their AOR was received. Did anyone from our group got any correspondence from CPP-O??

Also, one more thing I had to ask I submitted my PCC almost 45 days back. But still I did not get any response back from CIC that they have received my PCC. Do they reply at all or not ??

BTW, I hope everyone on this group is well and doing great......... :):):)

Just out of curiosity did they ask you to submit your PCC or did you just do it?

I did it.........they did not request for it........anyways, there is a June 2013 applicant who got RCMP request. Does this mean that we can expected something to come up in the next 2 months........???

cpp-ottawa does not acknowledge PCC receipt,if you used courrier or xpress canada post you can track it and that will be your confirmation .
you can also order GCMS notes its free and it takes 30 days to come by email,it will show if your PCC is added or not.
cpp-ottawa are currently processing december and january even november applicants,so june and july applicants just chill and relax you still have a few months to wait ahead of you.
currently the medical request comes around 10 months from the application date,so that should be your estimate if the processing times does not go up in the next few months.
july applicants you should not expect medical request before may 2014.

Our PCCs were received by CPP-O on Aug 21, then I sent an email asking for confirmation of receipt of original PCCs from our home country on Sept 5. They replied on Sept 25 confirming receipt of them and that they have been added to the application.

Dude, I have seen that few applicants from Jan 2013 & April 2013 have received their medicals........so we can expect early next year......I mean in Jan,Feb or Mar.........thats my guess though.......

hi JPMH_CEC_2013,

well not to discourage you or anything but if you are expecting medical request early next year then you are dreaming.
medical request comes around 10 months or more for most of the CEC applicants, those who got it a bit earlier are a very rare cases and you shouldn't base your timelines on them you should look at the average processing times.
not to mention that if something is unclear about your application it will take even longer because it will be going under a required review by different visa officer.

JPMH_CEC_2013,

the earliest you can expect medical request is march,im just been realistic so don't get offended ;)

govt of canada phone call

Does any of you had a phone call from govt of Canada? we have some phone calls from no. 780 495 7943 our caller id says it is govt of Canada but the only thing we hear is a fax tone, I have tried to call back but there is no answer, also called and e mail gov of Canada to other numbers but none of them can tell me where this phone (fax) is. Telus doesn't give me an answer either "because I'm not their costumer"??
