Sorry to hear that delorean
BOWP is a little different process than a "regular" OWP, Flagpole give you a WP if you already have it granted (a letter from Canada telling you that) or a positive LMO for a Closed WP. Was your old Wp still valid? What was the expiration date on it? Now I will suggest you to stay positive, look for legal assistance ASAP and see if it is possible to do something about.(like get a longer visitor permit)
The most important think is that you have AOR, that means your application for PR will be considered as it seems to be complete, don't do anything that can jeopardize that, if you have to leave, leave if you can't work don't work. Good luck in your process!

Our wp was valid until 2 weeks from day we went to border. Thank you very much! Right, we sent email to CIC what happened but they will reply within 20 days.

Hope you can get a very positive result, worst case scenario next year you are Canadian PR.

Hello friends,

I have a question for all of you here, I applied for my PR via CEC on July 7th and mailed it to CIC intake office in Sydney but one of my friend told that in generic application form in section where it asks about visa processing office I mentioned CIC sydney but they are telling me I should have mentioned CPP Ottawa.

For your information I live in Toronto.

Please let me know if these will cause any big issues in my application.

Thank you

After reading your question I just realised that I haven't answered this question. I left it blank. Now I am thinking that my application might get returned...... :(

Just good news for July applicants, Yesterday night I knew a July 2nd applicant from outside the forum who got his AOR on last Friday night. so July 2nd applicants hang on and review your e-mails after 6 p.m. (all the people i know has received aor after 6pm, looks like is the last think they do before leave the office) don't forget to check spam folders.
