JULY 2012 TEMPORARY WORK PERMIT APPLICANTS IN ABU DHABI

Hi everyone!Just wanna ask how's going on with your application.I'm one of those temporary work permit applicants who applied here in Abu Dhabi and still waiting for a positive response.Guys did you receive any acknowledgement of receipt from the Canada embassy after passing all the necessary forms and documents?Thanks!Here's my timeline:

July19-forms and documents were sent to Canada embassy via Aramex courier
July22-forms and documents were received by Canada embassy

I had sent my application July 11. I havent got any messages for the Embassy but my application had been received. I'm still waiting because processing time is 1-6 months. Some applicant from the other thread submitted June but they dont have any update yet. Lets just keep on praying...

Hi , I sent my documents July 4 and they received 5th July.
No update so far and its so frustrating
Is there any way to check Abu dhabi embassy after one month?

Hello Henz!Alright we'll just keep on waiting,hopefully we'll get our visas earlier than the said 1-6 mos processing time.Keep on posting for any latest update on your application.God bless!

Hello YoBoy!The processing time for temporary work permit visa is from 1-6 mos and according to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website:

"If it has been longer than the time shown above since you applied and your visa office has not conHertacted you, you may wish to contact the visa office that is processing your application by e-mail, letter or fax. The Call Centre does not have information about applications processed outside Canada."

So I believe we really have to wait for this.More patience

Yes I think so.
But my company in canada arranged lawyers as per them they will check visa office after one month.
Don't know how they will do it

Patience is the only thing required as Jun applicants are still waiting. This visa office is the one called LAZY office.
