Re: e medicals

Just wanted to share with everyone that e medicals are really super fast...
We did our medical on Monday July 8th and the doctor says they have sent the results to cic yesterday July 9th. We got an email from CIC that they have received my husband and my daughters medical result but not mine.Doctor said he has sent all three of them together....Hope cic finds mine too..

Dr Pawan Ram..Surrey BC. Infact during our medical examination he keyed in all our information in the system in front of us...He said he will be waiting for the xray and blood results which he said will take 1 day and then submit our results. With e medical he said the process is become way faster..

Great to know! I am also in BC, and when I get the MR, I might just visit this particular doctor.

In Ecas does it show "medical received" as a status?..

Cause for me its still shows "in process" but inside it says medicals have been received..... also any idea how long after this status does one get PPR cause its been more than a week...

Hello everyone! I haven't visited the forum for a while. I saw that some of us has become PR. Congratulations!
I also just got passport request last week and sent mine right away.
My status currently is "Decision made"

"medical received" is part of the "in process" status.. since u already saw it when u clicked inside.. after "in process" it will be "decision made" and i'm not sure how long PPR takes after that.. some people have been waiting months??! >.<

my medicals were sent june 7 and i got "decision made" exactly a month after that (july 6).. it's hard to tell.. now i dont know how long will COPR take because i am from a visa exempt country...

hope that answered your question?

Hi guys :)

I received my passport yesterday along with COPR after 2 weeks :) Yayyy! I was all excited and then I realized on COPR , as my last entry to Canada port and date info, they put down the information I provided them when I applied and since then I travelled :( And as original entry to Canada date, the date they put down I have no idea where it came from. So I am wondering if I can get those corrected at the port of entry while I am doing my landing or do they need to re-issue the COPR.Grrr, I am so annoyed. I didn't realize we were suppose to keep them updated regarding the dates we are in an out of Canada after applying :( They must have access to border Canada info though. Anybody has any experiences regarding this?

Thanks guys and all the best for people who are still waiting!

Hello Friends,

I am hoping to receive my medical request soon. It would be great if anyone can suggest a good medical practitioner for undergoing my medical tests in Toronto.

Hello Guys,

I finally landed last weekend and i am a proud Canadian PR now. :D

Took me long time to get my PR but overall i am very very happy . I drove to Carway border crossing in Alberta and took me around 4 hrs to go through the process. Officer at the US side was really nice and helpful but at the Canadian side was rude and unprofessional. Anyways who cares after getting all this. ::)

I want to say a BIG thank you to every member and owner of this forum for their great help and suggestions. You guys are awesome. Best of luck to ones who are waiting for their PR and god bless you all :)
