Hi Good morning all

after seeing @pititdragon status changes i also checked in my ecas, now it is shown as 'DECISION MADE'. I think this is normal process. I will send my PP to CIC probably today.
hoping today would be lucky day for others who are waiting badly for PPR.

Got reminder about medical request but never got the original MR

Hi Everyone,

Today received an email from CIC saying

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. Our records indicate that we are still missing the following document(s) in order to finalize your application:

Ø Medical examination. If you have already passed your medical examination, please respond to this email with the date the examination took place, the name of the Designated Medical Practitioner and any tracking number that can help us locate your medical results.

An initial request was sent to you on April 14, 2013. To this date, we have not heard back from you.

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

But we never received the original MR..Have been checking email(also spam) everyday. Has anyone been in same situation? What should i do?

Re: Got reminder about medical request but never got the original MR

That's obviously a technical error. You should email them and tell that you never received the original MR, you were patiently awaiting it.
Please ask them to send the request again, and indicate that you are ready to undergo the examination immediately once the request is received.
I am of course very disappointed that even such things occur. It's hard to say what was the cause, either something didn't work quite right in the CIC, or maybe it was the mail server that got it. Seems like there are so many variables at play.... best of luck to you in resolving this situation quickly!

Thanks for your advice sherych...Have sent cic an email. lets hope they will not reject our application because this...We received RPRF and biodata request on April 15th but never got the MR. We even sent an email to CIC saying that we received RPRF but no medical and they replied "your application is in process and no further information is required from you"
Just frustrated that we wasted 2 months waiting patiently.. :(

Hi
I graduated in April 2012 and as soon as I graduated I was offered a job but I had only Co op work permit at that time and I called CIC and they told me that if my serial number on co op wp starts with "U" then I am good to go and can start working for being paid.
my actual wp started in june 2012.
Now for applying under cic i need a reference letter from the company and on which they will write that I started my job in April which technically i could not under co op wp. ( I came to know about this later)
and i have no record of the call i made to CIC before accepting the job

If some one has any idea if I am right or wrong for applying?
Please reply
