And I am sure, seeing the COPR must have made it feel totally worth it !!! Anyways, please do let us know about how your landing at Niagara border goes ahead. Congrats again !!!

A question I asked earlier.

I had a baby in Canada after I applied for PR. I had sent CIC the birth certificate and had received confirmation it was added to the file. Do I need to enter the baby's name, height and eye color on the bio data form? Or can I skip it since the baby does not need a PR?

Hoping someone had a similar situation and can answer..
Wanted to avoid calling CIC since getting through is a hit or miss. Will appreciate some advise.

Btw I went for medicals this afternoon. They do e medicals.
The doctor was very good and explained the process.
They did the weight and height check and checked vision and did a urine test.
Based on the assessment of our health history and above tests, the doctor ordered blood work and chest X-rays.
These two are mandatory, but only for adults.
The blood work was for STDs (HIV, Syphilis) and thus no need for fasting.
The chest X Ray is for Tuberculosis.
The doctor said the blood work would take 5 to 8 days and is done by the ministry, so there is a wait time and doctor has no control.
Thus though they do e-Medicals and it is supposed to be fast, the results doesn't get back to CIC until 10 days later.

I had to submit one photo along with the medical forms. They took a digital photo too that was later printed on the eMedical forms for blood work and xray.
We went to 2 separate labs for the ordered tests, and they would send the results to the doctor and the doctor would submit the results in 10 days.

I hope this helps those who are waiting..

Congrats

I am from a visa exempt country. I received bio-data, RPRF and medical request at the same time. They once uploaded a decision was made and I received COPR, no PPR was made so the process was very quick. This is one of the benefits of being from a visa exempt country I guess, which I didn't realise until now.

And I'm just sitting here waiting for my medical request. . .

Hi posstr,

You shouldn't be worrying, either now or in future.

They have already requested you to pay the fee got your bio data and for some silly reason forgot to send the Medical Request to you. So its just a matter of time before they send it. If you read May, June and July thread, you will find many applicants who were first asked to pay rprf + send biodata and were letter sent MR. The process (read: lazy CIC officer) is taking its own sweet time. You got nothing to worry about.

If you haven't requested for your ATIP (GCMSnotes), you may want to request one online. Its free if you are residing in Canada. Follow the instructions on the link below:

https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

Secondly, you can naively ask (email) CPP-Ottawa that you have sent your RPRF on so and so date and you are concerned if the payment has gone through and if they have got your biodata. Also you are concerned if your Medical Request has been sent. And dont forget to write your complete info in the email, full name, CEC application no, date of birth, place of birth and your residential address.

Let's see how CIC responds back.

hi infoseeker12,,,

thanks a lot for ur response,,,i have sent them an email about it but did'nt get response yet,,,i will wait for one more week and would inquire again,,,thanks again :)
