Congratulations to all the people who received their Medical Requests.

I am not sure if I will receive a MR because I remember that I did the Medical Examination 5 months BEFORE I sent my PR application. I told the receptionist/nurse that I haven't applied yet and she told me it doesn't matter and they will send my medical examination to the visa office.
I didn't read the manual properly at that time.

Am I the only one here who did the medical examination before sending the application? Let me know!
Medicals expire in 1 year - if you did your medicals 5 months before July 2012, you will have to do them again.

Hey ps2211, i talked to DMP i visited they said it will take around 2 weeks to send my medicals via e-medical process. i guess it would be faster than paper process. Medical was fast, everything was done within 3 hrs though i had to go to different facilities to see doctor and other tests

Thanks for the update. looks like this doctor is too busy doesnt have any date almost till month end.
As i also stay in calgary planning to do my medical at the same place.
So did you visited the x-ray clinic immediately after you meet the doctor and than went for your blood test.
Where did you got the x-ray and blood test done as i also stay in calgary.

Also, did you also got the request for RPRF.

Cheers.

Hello GUys.

It seems most the applicants who received their MR are from Calgary. Please correct me if I am wrong?

Any one from another province or city received MR? Specifically, anyone from Toronto received MR yet?

Just wondering!!!

Yes, i did everything on the same day and everything was done within 3 hrs. i got doctor appointment almost after 3 weeks. Make sure to check for emedical doctors and book appointment for blood test as they dont accept walk-ins.you need to visit DMP first and they will give you epaper to do blood and xray tests. My blood test was done in Downtown and x-ray done in NE. When you doing xray, dont forget to ask them if they do new emedical process or not.

In total everything costed me $256. DMP - $180, blood and xray - $38 each

I'm in Ontario. Keep the faith. I'm sure you'll get an e-mail from CIC soon.
