For all my friends who chose Buffalo as visa office -

I had sent an email to CIO Sydney asking where would my application be forwarded to as I chose Buffalo in my application. I got their reply saying it's with Ottawa office now.

Relief isn't it?

ENJOY!!!

hooray! i sent mine a day after you and i also chose the buffalo office! thanks for your piece of good news! :D lets hope we all get medical requests quickly!

Just want to double check after receiving AOR.
It's OK to leave Canada at this stage right? Applicants are allowed to leave Canada for a home visit with valid visa/passport?

AFAIK there should be no issues. Keep in mind though, that you need to have proper paperwork to come back. Since I have applied, I have gone to the states multiple times for work and haven't had issues coming back in, so I don't see why family visits would be any different.

This is good news, not a major leap but good news nonetheless. Here's hoping the process improves a lot more....

Sniffer! I dont believe so, as the heading suggests its only applicable to Federal Skilled Worker, ours will be different. You mentioned in your earlier post that your status was changed from application received, now you are saying its the same and was not changed?????

i was asking if any of the july applicats status cahnged ... mine is in Application recieved ...

It's likely to go from Application received to In Process around the time they'll send you the medical request. ECAS updating is not always quite up to date so, don't worry about it too much!
