@infoseeker: The date of graduation (ceremony) is what they are looking for and it should be printed on your degree for sure . At least mine does.
 
I think in the new CEC 2013 rule..they only count the experience gained with PGWP or any other closed work permit ONLY. They don't bother when you obtained your credential. They start counting your work experience when your status in Canada is on work permit. Also, there is nowhere in the new application where you can mention when you obtained your Canadian education credential.

So for Canadian graduate applicants it is the issuing date of your PGWP

I think you're right, but the application discussed in this thread was filed before January 2, 2013, so it's the old CEC rules that matter...
