July, 2011 - Total Time to Receive Acknowledgement Receipt

I applied for my parents's Family Sponsorship back in July. The CIC website says "Issuing acknowledgement letters for applications received on April 29, 2011". It's been stuck on this message for weeks. No update.

I am wondering how long does it take to receive the acknowledgement receipt back from CIC for Family Sponsorship applications. Family Sponsorship was applied from within Canada.

Hi I applied for my parents sponsorship back in March 2011 at CPC-Mississauga, Ontario and received letter from cic for additional documents in end of july. I submitted all the requested documents in October2014 and waiting. But all this while, the only note i see on ECAS is that cic received the application in 2011..........no other info. Please keep posting if there are further updates on ur file.
