This waiting is torture but lets not lose hope! Dadating na yan.. :) god bless everyone!

The waiting is torture.
I'm in such a bad mood >:( >:( >:(
I will fly to Phils this weekend and spend a week with my wife and son and celebrate our 2 year anniversary.
I better change my mood before I leave. :D
Still tempted to go CEM ;)

Hi guys!

Based from what I've read on other cases before, having a Filipino or Canadian spouse
won't dictate the speed of processing. I don't think there's a priority list on this either.
All cases are different and may be handled by several Visa officers.
According to a journal I've read on a Filipino newspaper in Winnipeg, there are 17 officers
and they review a number of 150 applications a day not only from the Philippines
but from other locations near as well.

Hold on everyone! Prepare what you need, go where you want to go while still
in our country. Because when the magic Visa arrives, you'd tend to overlook things
and be pre-occupied with landing the soonest you can. :)

Hi all,
My hubby is flying na to toronto on feb 2. This is surreal! Parang kahapon lang preparing the application and now mag kakasama na kami. The waiting is depressing pero it's all worth it!

I don't think it will affect your application -good nor bad if you come down to the embassy for an update..My husband and I went there last January 2012 before I came back to Canada, just had to write on a form and drop it in the box they have at the lobby (since they won't let you in upstairs w/o an appointment). You'll get an automatic response thru email or text;whichever you prefer that they received your inquiry but won't respond unless it's outside the processing time.

I should just have waited for my husband since the visa came exactly 2 weeks after I got back; he is now here with me in Canada btw-just arrived today ;D...I think they just look into your file; dismiss your inquiry right away once they see it's still in window.

But still, you know, since your wife is pregnant you can plead your case..

anyway, good luck, I hope you get the good news together while you're in the Philippines, if not sooner..

God is Good...

Hi,
I just want to clarify that you went down there and they would not meet you in person?

Hello Guys. Grabe ang higpit ng immigration dito sa atin. Waaahhh.. Good luck po sa lahat ng waiting na lang. Keep on praying and more patience lang kasi kayo na rin ang next. God be with us all the time..

ganyan talaga immigration sa atin lalo dadaan flight mo ng US.
sometimes they overdo it or minsan naisip ko they do it for sake na makadelehensya sa tao... hehehe

n.
hi ajw! I myself went to embassy a while ago. I didn't think twice to go there. I didn't even try to call nor email them 'coz I don't wanna let the day pass without getting an answer on my concern. They let me went upstairs on 6th floor. Just noticed last night that there was an error in the docs they had been returned. No VO will entertain you might as I expected. I just filled out the form that receptionist had given me and I dropped it at their drop box on 6th floor. Then less than 30mins of waiting, they paged my name & told me that they'll gonna send it back the docs with proper labelling :)

hi AJW, FYI only that Embassy Manila is no longer accepting walk-in inquiries or follow up, only by appointment. The security will hold you at the lobby area, actually it sucks bec. me and my husband spent 4 hours back and forth just to talk to an officer, sadly we're only allowed to write down on a form they will provide you all your queries and they will response through email, which fortunately they did after a week. I recommend you email them first for your appointment.

I thought about e-mailing and have sent previous e-mails that they never acknowledged.
Not one response.
