i arrived here at canada last sept 11, and i was i think5 or 6 months.. and Thank God yes my OHIP card arrived 2 days before ( december 9 ) im eligible ( december 11 ) and now im on my 38 weeks of pregnancy.. so happy im now covered...

I hope we can get to Canada in time to be covered by OHIP.

Hi Sis, im here na in Canada and it so cold here, im adjusting well naman, i got my S.I.N. number na and wil start to look for a job early next year. Goodluck po sa lahat, i think i missed a lot of messages here, medyo busy pa rin ngayon..

Im so happy to be with my husband na and for sure malapit na rin yung para sa lahat ng waiting sa kanya kanyang stage, di ako masyado maka-online sa ngayon medyo palagi ako sa labas together with my husband.

while waiting for the OHIP there are some Community center that gives free check up, lab works, funded by the government.. they can also pay for the hospital bill just in case your wife delivers without OHIP.. but not all are covered.. but its a big help thou...

im not sure if all community centers all over canada offers like that.. i can give you one but its located here in brampton on...

we went to the BRAMALEA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER.. they are also the one who referred us to an OB/GYN...
most of the lab test like ultrasound, blood works are free... if theres a need to be referred to a specialist they will find one for you and its also a free of charge..

Question lang po. CEM requested for passport November 3, 2011 (date of letter), dropped off passport nang hubby ko nung November 28 sa CEM office mailbox.

Confirm na ba to na okay na lahat and waiting lang to send back passport to my hubby? So depressing na kase eh, ang bagal nang process time. Anyone, in the same boat as I am?

Application received: July 28, 2011
Application to Sponsor Approved: October 19, 2011
Forward to CEM Manila office: October 19, 2011
Application for Permanent Residence open: November 19, 2011
Requested for additional Document: November 15, 2011

just pray na ok na ang lahta after your husband submitted his passport.. DM nalang ang aantayin, so ibabalik yung passport with visa..
no worries ang importante on process na.. no one knows how long it will take.. !!
