this forum helps me a lot........im so thankful to all of u.....im so paranoid but because of this forum i gained support from all of u.....
it means a lot to me......i learned alot beacuse of this forum........i know what to expect next because of this.....

Dami naman Filipino dito sa Winnipeg. We just had one bad experience
My husband bought some things at Walmart. When he checked his receipt
before going home, he found out he has been charged an item he didn't buy.
Filipina daw yung cashier. So bumalik sya ng Walmart at nagtanong sa customer service.
Buti din daw, Filipina yung nasa customer service desk. Binalikan nila yung cashier
and nakita nung taga customer care yung item hidden under the stuffs at the cashier's counter.
He got his refund alright, but he was also told na minsan daw talaga kung sino pa yung
kababayan mo, siya pang loloko sa'yo.

But hey, it's just a minor incident but I just wanted to share.

I just wonder why they need appendix A completed.

Seems we filled out all of this with application, so why request it again?

You mean the appendix A that asks for your passport details?
It's a completely different Appendix A from the immigration forms.
That's a standard form for passport requests.

i am going home to my province with my sister this christmas.....im sure i'll definitely enjoy there....

that's sad...how could he/she do that? dapat mag tulungan ang mga kababayan......huhuhu
hindi pa pala na wala ang crab mentality that filipino are being stereotype to......

i still cant belive that a filipino can deceive his fellow filipino.....

but i guess theres always a rotten fruit in a fruits basket.....

she will received the passport request thru mail, post mail...
im not yet covered ill be eligible on december 12.. so hoping and praying ill make it on my due date to b covered..
coz every visit to a docotor especially to the OB/GYN without OHIP is so expensive.. we also had to pay all laboratory etc...

when we filed our application i was not yet pregnant but on the time of my interview im already 2 months...

lets just pray that your processing would be fast.. ;D

Just wondering if you had your baby? Did you make it in time to be covered by OHIP? We just got PPR yesterday.

i arrived here at canada last sept 11, and i was i think5 or 6 months.. and Thank God yes my OHIP card arrived 2 days before ( december 9 ) im eligible ( december 11 ) and now im on my 38 weeks of pregnancy.. so happy im now covered...
