I am new here and still figuring out how this site work. I just want to ask po who among in this thread had got married with a Canadian man? I need some direction and help please on where he can get the Certificate of No Impediment? which I know is the legal capacity to marry. Is it the Canadian Embassy here in Manila or he will get it in his town in Edmonton, Canada? He is a divorced man. Thank you so much.

hi gracie welcome to this forum...i am also married to a canadian national...you can get that at CEM (manila embassy)...just present the divorce cert. and you will pay also something i cant remember how much though ..

Hi April20 is right, just go to CEM, and as far as i remember 2,500 po ang payment, sana my memory is still ok lolz.. God Bless and gudluck

Thank you Sis Jovy! syempre super saya namin ni hubby pero at the same time, sad kasi may mga nauna pa sa min na dapat na-DM na rin. a bit anxious kasi ang dami ko pang dapat ayusin before I leave but super excited. hubby wants me to get the earliest flight as soon as i get my visa. hahaha.

i can conclude that its more faster the approval if ur hubby is canadian ;D hope sa amin rin.. just anxious lng ako lamig pa naman sa cebu kasi may trip kami this december outside country so need passport hope hindi mag conflict if they will ask for my passport that time(if im approved hope so) cause this is the time we meet again with my hubby after 1yr prior to the wedding...huhuhu boring naman ngayon sa amin

Does anyone knows whats next for us?

I been trying to use my client ID to check our status, but still doesn't say anything, I can only see my whole name and and there's the option to remove myself from viewing my Ecas status.

anyone ecounter the same thing?
