Hi all,
I got to know from my bank that my DD got encashed on 30/8/2011
My bank from where I made DD was Dena bank
My app detais is as under:
NOC: 1122
APP SENT: 16/07/2011
APP RECD: 21/07/2011 AT 3.15 PM BY MIKE
I REQUEST EVERYONE WHOSE MODE OF PAYMENT IS DD TO CKECK WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE BANK.

Hi guys i was just researching a bit about the Noc 1122 Cap Full and I am not able to get the following stats:-

01/07/2011 was friday

02/07/2011 was saturday

03/07/2011 was sunday

04/07/2011 to 08/07/2011 was total of five working days............some of the people is saying that the NOC 1122 GOT FULL ON 08/07/2011......WHICH ACTUALLY MEANS THAT IN ONLY 5 WORKING DAYS CIC HAD RECEIVED MORE THEN 500 APPLICATIONS.........IS IT POSSIBLE.........PLEASE COMMENT

So for pessimist post July 8th folks are still in the game !!!

My gut feeling is other than first come first , the filtration is also happening on the strength of the candidature.

People who got their DD encashed could also email CIC after 6 weeks of filing and check (to confirm again) if it has come in the cap or not..

OR

the people who got 'cap full' letters, does your job description accurately match NOC 1122 Job description...? Maybe they gave priority to accurate matches... another speculation.... the only way is to wait and see what happens..

guys carefully read cic site before counting number of application received http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

check below the table .

NOTE: Because application intake fluctuates, these figures are meant as a guide only. There is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap.

congratulations.

thats just a very surprising news. even my application was received on 21st july by mike. today itself i checked the status of my BD but unfortunately it has not been encashed yet.

but its still weird that from 8th july they directly encashed BD of someone whose app was received on 21st july.

GUYS JUST GO CHECK YOU BD / CC STATUS.

His CC was charged around 28th or 29th of August. I know it is bit difficult to speculate about the possible outcome but as I been reiterating earlier as well , for those who have recd emails with returned apps saying the cap was full, My question is do they know that it could also be due to incompleteness. The reason I am saying is that if people from India have plainly gone by what documents has been asked for as per the CIC website then I would like to state that , the document checklist sent to me by my immigration consultant along with the list of affidavits and the content in them , was something which a person like me couldn't have assessed as necessary.

I had filed for HSMP and I got it on my own cuz that was very easy but when I went through the Canadian checklist even though it may sound simpler but the supporting documents is the key here. For example :

In India we get marksheets for Graduation/ PG and one needs to ask for Transcripts from the respective college/ University. I din't know that along with the Transcripts, I had to also attach the translated copy of marksheets on a Judicial Stamp paper , signed by the official translator/ lawyer. Please be aware that this process is different than notarization where the photocopies are attested by a Notary.

And there are many such affidavits which are required depending upon the need.

So I would be more keen to know from folks who went through lawyers/consultants and have got the rejection letter post July 8th, assuming your documentation was complete.

CIC Tweet as somebody pointed out correctly on 11th Aug said that "less than 100 spots were left under 1122 category" and then on Aug 22nd it said Cap reached.
I saw in the spreadsheet that somebody whose app reached on July 4th has got his app returned saying "Cap reached".
For somebody who has seen the last time's process, I want to know if the returned applications had the standard reason of "Cap Reached" or reasons such as "Insufficient points...etc...etc" were also given ???
I still cannot fathom the fact that Cap of 500 was reached within first week of July itself. Number of applications for Canada cannot be as high as US H1B visa guys? or UK HSMP (When it existed)?
What about the letters for somebody whose apps were returned due to incompleteness? What was the content of those letters? My friend who filed from South Africa had his applications reached on July 13th and his BD was encashed as I mentioned in one of my previous posts. So there is no possible connect here about the cap reaching within first week of July.

I posted this message earlier and I am doing it once again.

Yes. Possible. We have to think logically. In 2010, 1000 applications (1122) were received by CIC and cut off date was 28th Oct 2010 and cap closed on Nov 2nd or 3rd acoording to some members in the forum. Which means 1000 in four months. At that rate, at least 3000 people had been waiting to apply by July 1st 2011 (from Nov 5th 2010 to July 01st 2011). And as David Cohen said- only the quickest and most organized will make it this time.

But now we here more news about CC/BD charged after July 8th for 1122, there are yet so many questions to be answered and hope we will find answers to all of them very soon. Like you said, it is also possible that CIC is selecting based upon candidature. Because of the # of applications they have received , they are now biased towards selecting the 'best and complete' rather than 'complete' alone.

I strongly feel that letters were sent saying 'cap full' are not due to incompleteness because, none of the pre july 8th applicants received such letters and it is highly unlikely that only post july 8th applicants had completeness issues.

Everyone whose CC/BD has been charged after july 8th can share with us your current company. That way, we may be able to make a guess if CIC is biased towards candidatureat this moment.

What a foolish statement to make. Are you sure you fall in 1122 category? or by mistake you filled in 1122 instead of 7371 category?

A bank that allows to open NRE, NRO and FCNR account will not have a currency overdraft facility? Let me know if you don't understand the difference between NRE, NRO and FCNR.
