Any guess for CIO stop updating website after 10th Aughust. My wild guess is that they are may be waiting for CC/BD charged for applications which had been counted within the cap but their payment has not yet processed by Receiver General of Canada... ;) ;)

May be but keeping the CAP open for that is sinister.. Many may still be applying to them just by seeing that number posted there...

Grim,
I am one hundred percent sure that cap has been reached. You also know that because you are following this forum from beginning. From daily updates to complete hibernation means that CIO has obtained 500 fully complete applications within quota. Now they are just charging CC/BD for 1122 and as soon that process complete CIC will announce the closure of cap.May be they are keeping the window open for some applicnats to replace because its possible that CC of some applicants will have charging problem.BD is assured method of cash payment they dont need to worry.

updated, has trace sg posted that hers/his payment has been negotiated?

Yes, tracesg's CC had been charged on 16th August. She put that information in her signature column.

BD applicants will taken as it is coz their fees is surely with CIC, but CC payment is not sure, so my guess is that the cap is full but they are just checking the CC thing in case payments not secured then those applications will be sent back and BD ones will be through.

Hi all
Just a bit confused as i can see some applications which have been recieved on 08/08 have had their cc fee processed. I am applying under the 3152 noc code so if I start to see applications which where recieved the following monday 11/08 having their cc's charged for 3152 will that mean my application will have been passed over as they are processing app's recieved after that date, or does it mean I could have got within the cap and my cc will be charged at a later date?

Danny

either your application is not complete
or
your cc payment didnot go through

not to worry, they attempt cc payment twice at the interval of 7-8 days

if your application was found incomplete, they will send it back without informing you . if your cc payment not go through in 36 days of your application reached you should compose a mail to cic to know the current status of your application

they attempt twice for cc payment at the interval of 7-8 days ,
if still not be cashed then they go to next applicant.
they will not choose purely bd payment candidates.
its based on first come first

i do understand that, i mean to say that reason for not updating could be CC payment application. ```

I promise u that if u see applications received Monday 11/08 with cc's charged in the near future, I will jump off the roof and then come back from the dead.
First of all, due to the fact that there are no cc's charged for app's received 08/08 as you are claiming, the latest are about 11/07.
Second of all, 11/08 is a Thursday!!!
Are u seriously complaining about being confused??? What should I say then?

its only the assumption that they are processing apps with dates around 8th july. i am sure the sap hasnt reached in mid july otherwise theu wouldnt be updating cic till 10th of august.

but all these things are wild guesses nuthin sure till they [ublish some reliable data..

i hope they clear the dust...
