updated,

is the receiver Mile or Mike?

Please could you let me know if we longer should notarise all douments ( except the translated doc) as the checklist and new docs in the CIC website does not ask for all the docs to be notarised as mentioned earlier in the country checklist?

please see the guideline on how to fill out the documents, then double check with the ocument checklist if it says there notarize or just copy. but if i were u, to be on the safe side just have them notarize if you're not sure whther to send just a copy or notarized. hope this helps....

for those in the spreadsheet, please send in the missing detail/s. thanks a lot!!!

With reference to the above discussion I would just like to share that I did not notarize all my documents. In fact, several documents of mine were just originals. I think westpoint is right about playing a safe game and sending all documents as notarized copies. However, many people do not have easy access to an office which can notarize documents / copies. I basically tried my best to send as many originals as possible, and the rest I sent simple copies. I couldn't find a suitable office to notarize my documents in time (I wanted to mail the package by 1st July).

Don't worry about it too much. So long as the immigration officer is convinced that your case is genuine and you are representing yourself accurately in your submissions you should be fine. If they require additional notarization or clarification, I believe they will ask you to provide the documents.

Forcaborca--- dear

a) what is your field of profession under 1122 ?
b) did u fill out all the forms without any blank or some small blanks were missing due to error?
c) did they called your employer for verification or not yet?
d) were your marksheets in univ. sealed envelopes?

Hello 1122khan11

a) I work as an adviser to a private company in the following areas: Supply Chain management, Operations optimization and Human Resources Management

b) Many of my fields were blank but none by mistake. For example, in the old forms (pre July 18th) there was a section on military service which I left completely empty. However I don't think I missed any information which I needed to provide.

c) From what I know, the employer verification process is not a MUST. In other words, they will only contact your employer if they feel the need to verify your information.

d) I provided my university transcripts in sealed envelopes as mailed to me by my university. I included a regular (non-notarized) copy of my Bachelor's degree diploma as well as other non-notarized copies of certificates for courses I have completed recently.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Forcaborca-- Thanks for the answers!! u left blank in those fields or wrote "NONE" OR "N/A" there. In my application I think, at one or two places i forgot to write none or n/a and left the blank. I am afraid!

Hi everyone!

Is UCI and immigration file number the same??? Filling up new form and it says that we applied before we should have a UCI. I checked our letter it only say immigration file number and it is alpha-numeric with 9 digits unlike UCI which only has 8 digits. Should I just leave it blank??? Help!!! :'(

Thanks Westpoint and forcabarca86 - understand the point , thanks again :)
Another question if I may , the new checklist says to submit the transcripts if available and I coud not find that it is mandatory - what do you think about it ?

Thanks !!!

If possible, I think its much better to provide University Transcripts in sealed envelopes. They add real weight to your academic claims. Furthermore, university transcripts enable immigration officers to assess the type of courses you have studied and what skills and knowledge you will be bringing to Canada (should you be allowed to immigrate!)

Good luck!
