People have different names in identity documents
But they have certain alias
Why which they r known
If she has other alias names
Then mention those

Your timeline is almost identical as mine. Do update me at your end so I can be aware of steps and proceedings.

It has been sometime since I was last on here, whilst waiting for the package to arrive from the London Visa Office. This morning the package arrived with our Passports Returned and Certificates of Permanent Residency.
I'd like to thank everyone for their advice and support over the last few months, and wish you all speedy resolution to your dreams.

Hello HD,

Base on my experience, I will say yes, its also depends on what is on her Passport, if your surname is reflected on the her Passport already then I will say yes.

Her previous name vis-a-vis are surname should be reflected on the have you use other name.

Am not in agreement with your post above,on the contrary he should mention his wife's maiden name,since she has used it before.

Wouldn't you rather think that his wife's credentials/birth certificates should be in her maiden name?

Other names are those which u occasionally use beside your names
Other wise they would have asked specifically maiden names
It's understood that after marriage surname is changed
But given names remains the same
Don't confuse your self between maiden name and other names
Rest is in your hands
W hat ever u feel like
U can fill up
For e.g film actress meers has some different name on her Id card
Meers would be her other name, and real names would be those on the id cards
