Dear CanadaFSW7216 & seniors

I been to Europe three times on schengen visas (3 Business visas at different times...)

1st time for 28 days (Stockholm-Sweden, Copenhagen-Denmark, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt-Germany, Leuven-Belgium. Zurich, Baden-Switzerland, Paris-France)

2nd time for 7 days (Frankfurt-Germany)

3rd time for 23 days (Stockholm-Sweden, Copenhagen-Denmark, Munich-Germany, Leuven-Belgium, Lusanne-Switzerland, Paris-France, Warsaw-Poland)

Now my question is are they going to do BG Check for all theses countries. This is F*** insane.. As they mentioned that they dont bother about any PCC if you have not travelled or stayed at one place for less than 6 months..

Kindly help with your review...

Thanks & Regards
Rawlin

Hi Rawlin,

hmm .. CSIS is supposed to do the Security Checks and provide a report to the Visa Office. I'm really can't guess how CSIS would arrive at a report for you. My guess is that they would simply contact the host nation that stamped your Schengen visa. It would serve the purpose, coz, in case of crime anywhere in the schengen countries, the local govt would inform your host nation and a record will be kept.

Dear Mahesh

I hope that seniors are right about their security check process which makes some applicants to wait a bit longer than others as they will wait to get the reports from other agencies before DM & stamping the visa.

But i hope that you should be hearing very soon... Its really great pain to wait for that long..

ya ,atleast this tension ends by coming friday..

Guys as u all know my case that I worked in cruise and I explained ndvo that I may not need pcc from different nations and ndvo said they transfered my concern to appropriate department and by send the rest of the documents. I sent the passport pcc from India medical and rprf. They en cashef my rprf and I m waiting for DM. Till now they did not tell me back anything abt FBI pcc and Italy pcc. Now I got my FBI report from USA. What should I do now. Should I send it to ndvo, if so it ll delay the process again or should o wait till I get intimation from ndvo. Guys plz help

Send it to VO with a cover letter explaining your case. Don't forget to write ur app number, dob and other details...it's just a suggestion. Sending this might push ur case towards finishing line. In any case they wil ask you for PCC coz that is a must and imp step if u have lived anywhere for more than 6 mnths.

Dear Rawlin,

CIC keeps BG check details confidential and contacts the applicant when there is a need to seek clarification. BG check details are never updated to ECAS.

My ECAS status is "Medical Results Received". We share the same NOC. Where are you from ?

CanadaFSW7216

Hey,
It's strange to c that many applicants who did medicals in march are still waiting for "medical received"line in ecas..and u did MEDICALS in April and have already this medical received line in ur ecas. What date it was updated...? Any idea?

Also a quick response from those who did MEDICALS in March nd still waiting for "medical received "line in ecas? Pls send a short msg....it making me nervous... :(

no bro, as I explained u earlier, I did not stay in any place for more than 6 mnts as I used to roam to different countries everyday in cruise ship. What should I do in this case.

All PCCs have a Unique Request Number/File Number on them. When CSIS chooses to contact Police Department in any country they would use that reference number along with the passport number. A reference number would help those departments to quickly rerun through their system and send their response to the CSIS.

I strongly suggest you send it, possibly along with this information :

1) A print of covering letter (send by CIC in MR mail). Tick the FBI Report statement in that letter
2) Your explanation for supplying the FBI report now. Attach your previous correspondence saying your stay was shorter than 6 months. This helps them in getting a clear picture
3) URN number and App Number clearly mentioned on your envelope

In this case wait for their call...they will not ask for PCC if u haven't lived there for more than 6 mnths....as it is clearly mentioned by CIC 6 mnths or more. I believe one should go by instructions...unnecessary paperwork will delay the case...do wht they ask for...nothing more..nothing less.

Furthermore working on cruise and on land is very different. Were u there in any country on a visa or u were just there on the deck...( in waters). It's just like if u are present at POE port of entry. Airport for example...physically u are there bt officially u will be inside a country if they stamp ur passport with arrived stamp. Same way if ur passport is stamped with departure stamp and u are still present at the airport waiting for ur flight..u will be considered out of the country...once PP is stamped with departure stamp...

Oh dear !!

Dont get nervous. There are people who got DM without the "Medicals Received Line". Same time, there are people who "MR line" showed up in just 5 days. Can't see MR line as something mandatory as long as you are sure that your Reports have been delivered to CIC.

My timeline including the "Med delivered date" is displayed on the left pan.

Don't worry, You may straight away get your DM. I will pray for you :-)
