Dear Friends,

I have got my PER, medicals have done in mid March 2012. I got an email from the local Visa Office requesting the " evidence of transferable funds of myself " . when i lodge my application, I have enclosed a valuation report of the Fixed assets ( House and Land ) only. The official document taken from the local valuation officer, and now it has expired on 31.12.2011.

Please tell me whether they asking above extended valuation report? Do I need to provide them bank statements with cash? When i get the visa, i will have resigned from the present job, thereafter my employer will release the provident fund, ETF, grativity etc.. Shall i mention those facts and future money resources in the covering letter?

SIR, YOUR GUIDANCE IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED..!!! WAITING A REPLY AT YOUR EARLIEST PLEASE.

Thanking you.

kind regards

Firstly, evaluation of fixed assets such as land and house are never accepted by CIO atleast in the MI3 rules. In your case, it must have been an exception or rarely the officers relax their rules to allow a applicant from a NOC in much demand but few applicants( like chef etc.,).
So, it is now your responsibility to show proof of funds in rupees/local currency (assuming based on your terms PF, ETF and gratuity) which can be readily transferrable to Canadian dollars. CIC is expecting you to sell your house or land and show them the funds you are going to carry to Canada since you need the money also at landing time and thereafter for your survival. I do not think PF is a readily available fund at the moment since you are still working and even after you resign it could take as long as 4 months to get your PF money.
I cannot suggest you anything at this time. However, you may borrow money from a friend/family and return the same to them when you get your PF in hands. Please be aware that CIC may also ask you as to how you got so much money in your account at once. Proof of sale of land deed is acceptable but borrowing from a friend/family is not an acceptable answer to them.
Others, please give your opinion.

Hi you can ask some of your relative to do fixed deposit money for 3 to 6 months in your name and get a letter from the bank.
Some of my friends has done it while they were in India. It's only my opinion.

hello! i'm so worried because i sent my application last dec 1, 2011 and it reached halifax in dec 20, 2011. Until now i have not receive any notification from the CIO, i'm so worried because my occupation's cap reached 500 last week of january. should i be worried or is it still too early to tell?

Well, if you look at our spreadsheet below, CIO is issuing PER in about two to three weeks from date of application received by CIO. I hate to tell you this but I am afraid your application did not make it into the cap. The cap updates on the website are not upto date and do not determine if your application falls in cap.

For ex:- NOC1122 cap closed on July 8th, 2011 but anouncement on the website was made on 22 August 2011. I am sorry but you have to wait for your application to be sent back to you. Meanwhile, you can prepare a fresh set of application while you wait for the cap to reopen on July 2012.

Better luck next time.

mayankpt and BDPA - Congratulations on your MR.

mayankpt, did you get your PPR too? Need an update for the spreadsheet.

hello lildmd,

we have the same NOC.
My application was returned due to cap reached. It was received by CIC on 28 December 2011.
It was said that there was a 22nd December applicant under the same NOC whose application was returned also due to cap reached.
Send an inquiry to CIC regarding your application.
i hope you got 'in'.
Good luck!!!

What is your Visa office

Normally London VO accept Land valuation but our Senior member Cappuccino sugest to obtain valuation from three different valuation firm and get the average(you can get clarification from him "get2canada@worldpress.com

From my experiance,I show 50% reqred money from my PF/TF balances obtaining letters from those handling organisation. In my country we can prematurly surrender above balances upon migration. It has been mentioned inrespective websites.

In my covering letter I have clearly stated all details and Link to respective web(PF/TF funds) an it hasent be a problem sofar .I have got MR and Medical result received status(The above two funds manage by the government and withdrawal etc. are acoordance with a parliament act)

Thanking you.
