I believe that the sun shines after the rain
I believe if you don't get hurt you'll never gain
I believe in not doing things the easy way
I believe that being selfish doesn’t pay
I believe something good comes from something bad
I believe that for tears of happiness there are tears of sad
I believe everyone has a guardian angel
And the good you do will be rewarded well
I believe that what comes first is family
I believe we should all live in harmony
I believe in making the most of a beautiful day
And it's not the end until everything's okay
I believe that to learn you have to live
I believe that to love someone you have to give
I believe one moment can change your life
And there's still help when you’re in strife
I believe to always look on the bright side
I believe that life is just one big ride
But it’s ok because I believe

thats good to know. That means that if our RPRF draft gets encashed, its the final step. Also that means that the medicals have been received and approved?

Absolutly right

Hi All,

I applied for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker Class on 3rd November 2011 and received my Application Number on 18th January 2012. On 23rd March 2012 we received the request letter for Medical. On 2nd February 2012, I send documents to add my new born baby to my application process to the address below.

CANADA HIGH COMMISSION,
IMMIGRATION SECTION,
P.O.BOX 5209,
NEW DELHI,
110021, INDIA.

But still now my Credit Card is not enchased and not receive any information from NDVO regarding adding new dependent. We are confused whether we can go forward with my new dependent for medical.

I send three mail through case specify enquriy ....but still no replay from NDVO......

whether my new dependent is added to my application process.
Thank u all

Seniors please answer this query. RPRF encashment means that all else is approved and we will get our DM and visas soon? Or are there any chances for rejection or delays after RPRF encashment?
Although m not senior but i can say almost nil chances of rejection after RPRF enchashment.

Hi Frens,

Need Help !!!

When I received my Medical Request, I received Immigration Cost Recovery Fees.pdf as well which has mentioned that Immigration Cost Recovery Fees - Effective November 07, 2011 of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is --> 22540 (INR) $490 (CAD).

But when I checked website (http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng&view=d) the Immigration Cost Recovery Fees - Effective 26 March 2012 of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is --> 24,010(INR) $490(CAD)

So, my question is which one shall I pay? Pay according to the Cost Recovery Fees.pdf send to me with the Medical request of 22540 (INR) or pay according to the website 24,010(INR) which was updated on 26th March 2012 ? Please Help !!!

I have already made Bank draft of 22540(INR) on 25th of March 2012. Do you think I should add another bank draft of (24,010 - 22,540) INR = 1470 INR in the name of "Canadian High Commission". Huh

Looking forward for your answers.

Chintu

Exactly RKC! We have been friends for over 8 months now which is why I am really anxious to hear your good news! I am sure it only a matter of hours/days now but still, it feels so goooooood to actually see it on your passports.

Guys

I have just received my passports with PR visa stamped!!!!!!!!!!!
WHATTT A RELIEF!!
A big thanks to all those who supported me during this haunting process!
Lots of ups and downs came by, First, how to send my passports to India for stamping as I was in Canada, Then.. an unexpected error in the date of birth in medical request and finally when I submitted the passports, a never ending wait for the passports that eventually came to an end today! :)
A special thanks to RKC, NKKD Hortons, BIG O, Qorax, Canadestin, Abhishek and above all Mitali!
Love you guys!
Best of luck to everyone in this virtual family, may everyone gets their yellow packet soon!

Tim

Hi Tim
Congrats for your visa. Can you tell me how did you ask them to send the passport to Indian address, I'm asking because your first mailing address would have been in Canada. Please let me know about it
