Just saw an update on my eCAS status. It now says "Decision Made" with and additional line added, to read "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

I sent my passport to the VO last Feb. 3, received Feb, 6. As of today, I have not received it back.

Just an update.

Good day to everyone.

Hi Friends,
I was a while far from this forum. I saw many of our friends have got their PER/MR/PPR which is really great and here I want to say congrats to all of them. Hope everything will go well and they will reach to their dreamsland.

Unfortunately I haven't heared anything from LVO. All the applicants before and after me have got their MR but there is no news for me.

Does anybody have idea when might I have my MR?

I appreciate for reply.
Cheers, aba2011.

Hi, I can completely sympathise with you as I am still waiting to hear from LVO aswell. I sent CSE and got a reply on 23/01/12 saying my file was waiting for review by immigration officer. Hope it helps to know your not the only one! Good luck and hope we all hear something soon :)

All the best Alain in your street strolls and job hunt buddy. Wish you all the best. Have you considered CIIP. They have some great partners to help one find a job, settlement services, integration programs and voluntary work that will give you canadian experience in addition to what you do. This could be community service, helping neighborhoods etc. Just a small suggestion.

GOD BLESS!!

I am doing the CIIP on the 29th of Feb. I will be on vacation in the southern Philippine city of Davao. The Manila CIIP team was nice enough to bring the seminar to Davao. Very accommodating, very thoughtful. I think there were a few other Davao residents who were supposed to fly to Manila on the 29th. Now they don't have to. The CIIP is coming to them.

If anybody in this group is from Davao City, and ready for the CIIP, I suggest you write the CIIP team asap. Join the session on the 29th. It's going to be at the Grand Regal Hotel. Meet up time!

See you in Canada. I have not forgotten the chimney & cheese thing with RKC, Big O, and the rest of the gang. I am really glad your own application is moving smoothly this time around.

Hi friends
Today I received reply from LVO about my new born son.
Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your enquiry.

A new dependent can be added during the processing of an application.

You must submit a new application form including this new dependent on the applicant’s form for permanent resident.

In order to add the child to an application for permanent residence at this office, we require the following documents:
• processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada)
• your child’s birth certificate
• copy of your child’s valid passport
• 4 recent photographs of your child
• updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse.
• a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)

Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required. All documents must be sent by mail.

Your child must undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form upon receipt of the documents listed above. Be aware that even non-accompanying dependants must undergo medical examinations.

Application forms and photo specifications are available on our Web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3901e.pdf

Please note that the eligibility of new dependents will be assessed by the visa officer.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post to the applicant at the mailing address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

Yours sincerely,
