Wonder how to guess the time line from PER to MR. I could see NDVO is at a fast pace, but does it differ on the basis of NOC as well ??

On the other hand, can someone shed some light on Visa Office activities once they receive the file following a PER.

About your timelines, you will be happy to know the NDVO is one of the fastest VO. Though it's impossible to arrive at a timeline between PER and MR...I think 2 - 3 months is a legitimate guess. After PER your file will be sent to your VO, and will be dealt with at the VO itself.

The next step as per process is to get an AOR (ack of rcpt from VO)
MR & RPRF (medical request and req to pay landing fees)
PPR ( Passport request)
Then VISA stamping.

From NDVO you will rcv all of the above together (MR, PPR adn RPRF)...in a single mail.

Hi Seniors,

Need your guidance and help...

On 28 Nov 2011, Me and my wife got my MR/ PPR/ RPRF. We got my medicals done on 6 Dec' 2011.

On 8 Dec' 2011, I intimated CHC regarding addition in my family (Birth of my Daughter). On 23 Dec' 2011, I got the mail from CHC asking for documents like my daughter's Birth Certificate photocopy, her Passport photocopy and all the required documents for adding her in the case. These documents were required to be deposited max by 11 Feb' 2012.

On 2 Feb' 2012, I couriered all the documents and the same was recd by them on 3 Feb' 2012.

Now my query is.... <b>Should I wait for my daughter's MR to come and then send the PP's with RPRF fees????

Or should I send me and my Wife's PP and RPRF DD right now as it was raised by CHC before I intimated them about addition in my family...and then wait for my daughter's MR/ PPR???

Hello Vikas...congratulations. You must be on cloud nine being a new daddy!

I hadn't responded to your post because I wasn't 100% sure of the procedure you ought to follow as per guidelines. However since you are still waiting for a response, I can tell you what I would have done in your situation.

Send all your docs (you and your spouse) within the timeline specified. Do not delay that, as that may delay the processing of your file. You have already informed them about your baby (good thing), so you can send in her PP and MR when you have them. and that shouldn't be too long, as you can get a PP within 5 days max in Tatkal and your baby's medicals will not be more than an hour long.

Hopefully you are aware, in addition to her PP and Birth Cert, you need to send a new set of Generic and family info forms. Also you need to pay her fees. You have to show enhanced POF to cover 3 people.

I have applied through an agent. I have sent a CSE to CHC on Monday reg my medicals.
Do you think they will send MR to my agent's email or mine.
Also my agent is not showing due diligence and says it usually takes 6 months for MR to come after 2nd AOR.So basically he wants me to relax.
I am stuck bcoz everyone who has received MR also has the new line updated in the ecas.
Same line has been updated in my Ecas as well but MR's missing.
