Thank you stranger4ever...here's a +1 for you :)

Did anyone with an NER got their fee refund in MI3. I guess 'NO'. If there is a 'YES', please speak up.

In MI2, fee was refunded for applicants who got a NER but it was never refunded for an application which went into "In Process".

Hence, in MI3, CIO started using the "In Process" stage (on ecas status) during the eligibility review itself so they do not have to refund the fee even if an applicant receives an NER.

This is just my assumption and may not be true. What say?

Hello folks,
I am a newly registered member of this forum, but I have been following it for months.
I am in a quite unique situation:
I applied under NOC 0631/6242 on November 14th, and to this day I have not received any news from CIC. I called them today and after a brief verification to justify my identity , the call agent was very surprised that I have not received any news from CIC yet. He said that the file is with them and it is being reviewed right now, but there is "an unexplained delay" in the application. He also sent an inquiry to find out why there is no communication on the file. They are currently reviewing mid-December applicants.
Has anyone encountered such a problem when called CIC?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Hello dilvan,

Welcome to the forum. You did a very good thing by calling them at the right time. None of us have encountered such a problem. I am pretty sure you will receive a response soon. I have to say that cap reached for NOC0631 well before Nov 14th and hence your application will be assessed based on 6242 experience. I hope you have atleast one year of work experience in 6242.

Good luck with your application and keep us posted.

I know to ride a bike too....but a gearless one...it is such fun...I can't begin to tell you :)

I have a gang of girls here (my old colleagues who are dear friends now)...we went for a holiday to Goa and hired bikes...rode around town in the rain...it was amazing. Wish I would be able to repeat the same with my Canadian GOG!!!

Yipeeee
Hello YH,

This time the canadian GOG will ride in snow. We have added one more line to our 'TO DO' list beside our Diwali2012, Baba weds Barbie, AVSNEH's exotic veg lunch party, Big O's night at the chimney, alain's tai tai phis, agent ravi's ride to george street in brampton. Ahhhh! and the list goes on. :P

Hello dilvan...welcome to this thread.

Yes there is an unusual delay in your case. You should have got your PER by now.

The CAP for 0631 was closed around mid sep. So your primary NOC was not valid anymore when you applied. Your application must be getting processed under your second NOC (6242). This might be the cause for delay. But of course logically speaking this shouldn't be causing any delay, but I can see no other explanation.

I would suggest you call back CIC by next week end (give them 10 days from the last time you called basically). They will have some info by then.

What a situation to be in :( but don't you worry...6242 is far from getting filled. So it's just a matter of time. Have faith....all will be well!

Cheers

Le_Piaffeta ...congratulations on your PPR!

HI guys... do you know what proof you sent to NDVO as having completed medicals. Is it the form A signed by the doctor, but the category A,B or C was not ticked. This is what I got and was given to me the day I went for medicals.
My clinic says they sent my forms with in 7 days, but still waiting for it to show up in the ECAS status?? It is 15days now>>>

Pbly just wait... ???
