I just got my Passport request.

Ecas is still the same (in process), address is still not there, and received the request by mail.

i also received similar Email today, but only for proof of funds and not for PCC, and i also not submitted my PCC with initial application, still they do not asked for, any reasons why???

shall i send it along PCC as well or shall i wait for demand??

senior please suggest.

Hi,

trying to answer for all..

- The POF i ha initially submitted, I think were incorrect...as I had submitted the that time bank statement and some of my property assets I had purchased..whcih maybe are not liquid cash...

- PCC I had submitted was of Feb 2011, so might have expired by JUly 2011..hence they've asked for it..

- Not sure how will I arrange so many funds in liquid as youcant borrow, cant take loan, cant use your investments as proof...everything needs to be sold/encashed & put as a Fixed Deposit and then maybe get a bank certificate for that Fixed Deposit that it can be withdrawn anytime...maybe this helps to the VO.....as I think everything now will be of current date so it'll be tough to convince them...

not sure properly how to handle this...experts, pls help??/

Hi, not sure if this helps but some of my POF was property and I sent an up to date mortgage statement showing how much I owed on the property with an up to date valuation of the property. This then proved that I had a certain amount of equity in that property. Good luck

I am planning to get my Indian PCC from Birmingham Indian Consulate.

They didnt ask my UK PCC yet. since we came before 4 months, they may ask during MR.
