YOu will know via an e-mail from CIC stating that your application has received a POSITIVE FINAL DETERMINATION........and it's transfered to your respective visa office for further processing.... (You will receive this if your file is in CAP and everything is in accordance)

And if, God forbids, either your application does not fall in the cap your application will be returned to you via regular mail.

U must wait now.... In about 60-90 days you should receive an e-mail from CIC confirming or infirming cap reach on your application.
You can also contact CIC by e-mail : CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry <CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca> after passing 6 weeks and ask them for a file number or UCI number.
Do not contact them before the 6 weeks because they will not answer back before this period of time.

Spreadsheet gives u an idea of the average processing times and a chance to see where u stand...........!!!
