my application was filed on 15/10/11 reached cic on the 17/10/11.but on the 6th 0f jan2012 i received i received a mail from cic that my application has been received by cic on the 17/10/2011 .i was given a file no and also a uci number ,although i applied thru an agent.the mail i received was .
cic will contact me if they require additional document,interview etc
notify cic of any changes in birth ,adoption ,marriage,etc
check ur application with the uci number to determine ur status
i called my agent she said noting has come to her mail box. i dont know what to do now

Dear isy,can you please give detail of your noc and visa office as I also happen to be in the same time line as your's.I also recieved my PER this January .Does your ECAS show in process or otherwise .please reply.

He might have received AOR. As I also firstly received AOR (caz of my enquiry to CIC)and then after 20 days PER. SO he might have dropped an enquiry e-mail. My guess.

i have one more problem now,one of my employer with whom i worked 10years back(2001), is not ready to give a work experience letter as he says they dont have any record about me with them, nor do i have any record, i didnt give any appointment letter and i dont have the salary slips from them. i have thrown all of them around 2years back. hence i am not able to get that letter what shall i do know.

please advice.....

Show that u were not working that time if u cant provide the nescessary documentation................

Or else u can give an explanation letter...........
i guess they wont b bothered since ur talking about experience of 10 years ago
what they will b more interested is the current experience..........
if u can provide that
and u score the nescessary points
i dont think there is going to b any problem.....
