Today I just came to office and thought that Why GOD is not listening to my prayers.... Is he so busy in giving good news to all my other friends ???
But NO, he is so kind to me..... THANK YOU ALMIGHTY !!
He had given me a good news on my B'day dated 11th JAN.... Its a present which I never forget in my life.... THANK YOU GOD....
I got my MR/PRPF/PPR/PCCR yesterday from my barrister which she got from New Delhi the day before...
I feel like dancing in a rain...... Thank you all the forum members to give me valuable guidance in my path.....
Now, Today will take an appointment from the doc and will do in a week or two.....

application received by CIO on oct 21, PER received jan 12.

Hi doc kabayan!! Thank u! processing fee encashment last Nov. 10....MR letter sent by courier, just 3 days of receipt upon Visa issuance.
How's ur ecas??? Does it have 2nd additional line?

hello guys,sorry for being in active for a long time..I soo miss you all.I am happy for you who had updates on your applications.My Ecas is still the same,showing just a single line,"we received ur appli....Per received 3rd week Oct ,file transfer nov 10..I'm a bit anxious now but really praying hard that this year i will make it..I wish MR will come soon..Godbless!

AOR: Acknowledgement of Receipt. You will get it, once the visa office receives you file and sends you a letter. That is your AoR.

Now the question is that, was your previous application package returned by the CIO or retained by them? If it was returned then did you receive it or was it lost on the way?

I had similar case. According to CIO, my application package was returned along with all the documents. It was lost on the way and I did not received it. When I tried to convince the CIO to accept copy of my IELTS, following was the answer through email:

"
Good Morning

Applicants are now permitted to submit a clear photocopy of their language test results with a new Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) application only when:
* a previous FSW application (with the original test result form) was submitted on or after June 26, 2010; and
* the application and original test result form were not returned to the applicant by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC); and
* the tests results are still no more than two years old at the time the new FSW application is submitted.

Photocopies of test results will only be accepted when they are accompanied by a photocopy of the refusal letter from CIC and an explanation that CIC retained and currently holds the original test result form. Every photocopy that is submitted will be verified online to ensure its authenticity.

Applicants must continue to provide original reference letters and police certificates when submitting a new application. Applicants should obtain multiple originals of these documents so they are prepared if they need to submit a new application.

If you meet the above criteria we can accept a photocopy of the IELTS.

My problem was that the CIO had returned the application but it never reached me and my original IELTS was lost on the way. I even tried with the British Council for a new original copy but they also refused to give that directly to me. Instead they offered to give it to the concerned visa office if I provide them the file number. This was the reply by British Council:




"Thank you for writing to the British Council Information Centre.
I understand your concern and regret the unfortunate circumstances you faced in the delivery process of your documents.
The candidate is entitled to receive one original IELTS score after the test and later no duplicate are issued.
Please note that the British Council can only send your IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) to the Canadian Immigration Office directly, if the Case File Number is provided.
However if you like,you may appear for the IELTS test again in order to acquire an original IELTS result.If you need information regarding the IELTS registration process you can write back to me.
To avoid a delay in reply, please make sure to attach previous correspondence.
I regret for not being able to help you much in this matter.

As I had no original IELTS, no refusal letter and no file number, I went for the plan B and filed a new case with my spouse as the main applicant (we had taken the IELTS together).

Hope this info will be helpful.

Hi, themes guide says you can send copy of the IELTS and the reject letter to CIO, that is if u r reapplying an CIO has not returned your application after negative eligibility review. As you have not received a reject letter yet, I will suggest that u send a copy of the IELTS and a note that they already have ur original IELTS.

thanx a lot sir for ur detailed reply...today i contacted IDP for my original result.they said they will give me next week.ok for me..bt m worried about CAP now...already 6500 applicants..dun know wat will happen after 3 months...

Good work klmy. Nothing to worry about cap. You will be 'in' even if you send it one week later. Take this time to review your application again and again. Most of the high demand NOCs are full and CIO may not receive more than 9000/10000 cap. Last year they got 14000/20000 at the end of June 2011.

I second the opinion of Your Highness. It's NER so your friend can not give any new documents to support.
He has to re-apply as a fresh application.

Yes. I'm sorry to say he has to re-apply as a fresh applicant next time. Or maybe this time even if his NOC is not capped yet.

Thisis my opinion. However do wait for responses from others as well.
