dear westpoint,YH,other seniors

today my CISC agent forwarded me the NER mail which she received from CIO.

the reason stated was the immigration officer was not satisfied with the duties and responsibilities i have specified in my work experience proof document did not match with the duties and responsibilities of the NOC stated by CIO

now my agent is telling that she is talking with some senior counsel,

is there any chance that this NER decision by CIO will be reverted back and the same application can be accepted ?

or do i have to submit a new application?

please advice.....
i am so sorry to hear bout ur NER. dont try to overturn NER. it will just b a waste of time. try to submit the new application asap. good luck!

Sorry to know that. What are agents good for? They do not deserve to be paid a penny. Instead they should be penalized for not mentioning the shortcoming in time. Anyway don't lose heart and make a new attempt with the same energy and enthusiasm. And of course, you don't need any agent anymore.

Hi Guys

I have a simple question .. how much is the RPRF that we have to pay while submitting our passports? In their letter, it is confusing.. whether it is 550 or 490 CAD!!

Thanks
Tim

4. Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
(Canadian dollars)

For the acquisition of permanent resident status $490
This fee is payable by principal applicants (with some exceptions) and accompanying spouses and common-law partners. It must be paid before the immigrant visa is issued overseas or before the applicant becomes a permanent resident in Canada.

The following applicants are not required to pay this fee:

dependent children of a principal applicant or sponsor, a child to be adopted, or an orphaned brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild; and
protected persons, including Convention refugees.

Dear All,
London visa office emailed me today and confirmed that they have received my application and placed on file. They also ensured that no action is required by me at this point. They will inform me if needed. My Ecas status is same as before as 'We have received your application................on...'
Good luck all of us for MR.

Thanks

Ovais, even your application is with LVO . It takes less than a month after PER for applications to reach respective VO.

U have to provide a reference letter signed by your employer stating ur duties on the company letter head.........
U yourself writing ur duties on a judicial paper and getting it notarized is not acceptable........

my employer was not ready to give a certificate like that hence we went on with judiciary, even some of the forum members sujested similar procedure.....
