dear westpoint,YH,other seniors

today my CISC agent forwarded me the NER mail which she received from CIO.

the reason stated was the immigration officer was not satisfied with the duties and responsibilities i have specified in my work experience proof document did not match with the duties and responsibilities of the NOC stated by CIO

now my agent is telling that she is talking with some senior counsel,

is there any chance that this NER decision by CIO will be reverted back and the same application can be accepted ?

or do i have to submit a new application?

please advice.....

I think u have to submit a new application.
NER is turned into PER when there is unfair assessment...(i.e. they have not given u points where u were eligible)
U have got a NER because ur duties dont match............

SO FILE UR SECOND APPLICATION ASAP (if ur noc has not reached cap)
AND THIS TIME DO IT ON YOUR OWN

This is your 2nd AOR otherwise called file transfer acknowledgement. In my opinion, there is no difference between the both.

Thanks NKKD

but I have one more question....

after receiving second AOR from NDVO my E-Cas shows only one line..
"We received your application for permanent residence on xx August,2011"

That's all...Why ??? :-[ :-[

could anybody help please or anybody having the same circumstances..!! ??

Hey dear,

I am in same situation.... I got 2nd AOR i.e RBVO stage and still status is showing 'In Process'... detail its showing 2 lines about recv date and PER date....
Be sure that CIC agent updated the site of ECAS and not any VO agent have an authority to do so.... So 2nd AOR always comes from individual VOs and we can not expect that line to be added in ECAS as soon as we recv our 2nd AOR.... we should expect RBVO stage in our status update but unfortunatelly its observed that after getting PER everyone (applied after 1st Jul'11) is getting the status In Process directly.....so dont worry.... ECAS will only give the meaning that whether yoru file is in processing or not... You should only believe what you got in your hand (documents send by respective authority) and not any system....

if ur bank statement is in local currency, u should show how much the monies would be when converted to cad currency, this gives them an assurance that u r meeting the require proof of funds.
Dear West Point,
so how can i show??/in written form or there is a form named economic classes...there they asked about POF so is it sufficient to write the amount in CAD there???

i had this reason too before (and i had agent at that time too ;D)... when i examined my duties and responsibilities, it was just like a 4 liner or 5? and copied straight from the noc duties and responsibilities, and my agent did not include also most of the documents that i submitted to them, they always say just a year of evidence will be good, huh??? it is no wonder i flunked :'(

what ur agent is telling u had also been told to me by my EX AGENT (for fear of the repercussion of u asking for refund)

Do u homework, get all ur docs or atleast find out what docs they submitted to CIO, read the hrsdc job description and compare it w/ urs, study them carefully before giving up. there had been NER turned PER cases before (genius777 of PJ26) and we have one here too in the house, Rahul (correct me pls if I'm mistaken).

That's what i did before succumbing to do some appeal...but i myself discovered the errors that my EX AGENT committed hence i made a vow to do it myself next time around. If I make it or not to the race, then i will try again and will keep on trying till i get what i want, hopefully by that time i should have mastered everything...lol (case of trial and error, jst kidding)

i prepared my duties and responsibilities and gave to my agent even she said that dont just copy paste NOC duties so i prepared on my own and sent it to her for verification she came up with some corrections and finally one certificate was generated with 8 points and some text describing all duties and the same was transferred to a judiciary paper and was notarized as my employer wasnt ready to give me the certificate, but my employer provided me certificate which describes my duration in the company and designation and date of joining, it was also included in the application...

even then i will try to check the package will it be returned to us or the CISC authorised agent in canada ?

i will try to put the application again.....

thank u

Klmy, You may also provide a bank letter stating unencumbered transferable & available funds in CAD you have to support your POF.

Congratulations!! to everyone with new updates on their applications & all the very best to the ones who are waiting (including me).

Alain, I'm leaving for the Himalayas & will only return after NDVO decides to hand out my MR , hopefully they do before I get frozen in sub zero temperatures , so I can join you & Chen in Calgary.

I hope they make a note of it on my file. :P :P

I heard somewhere that the NDVO staff are all in the Himalayas vacationing AND not thinking about the 2 quadrillion people waiting for updates on their FSW apps. Good luck meeting them there. Wear a hat with your UCI number on it.

Hello NDVO. Yuhoooo. RKC's MR. Where is it. Please send before you even take a bathroom break.

Hahaha!!

In that case, for them to be able to get relieved & before the drop of my hat I should rush up north & secure my MR.

Warning for NDVO staff: Keep your water intake to the minimum until you meet RKC donning her UCI hat.

U have to provide a reference letter signed by your employer stating ur duties on the company letter head.........
U yourself writing ur duties on a judicial paper and getting it notarized is not acceptable........

Members,

Today I have called CIO to asked about my case.
Officer told me that my case is under review and i should wait 3-4 weeks for update.
Meanwhile he has given me client id.
I have checked status on their website by cliend id which showing "in process".

What does this mean?
Having client Id is positive sign?
