I called CIC from minutes ago ... and answer machine replied it's holiday .. and working from monday 8.00 am local time in canada

do anyone knows is CIC is working today and when will they resume their work

I just opened my Aor. As i was out of town i could not open it on the date it arrived. Date on letter is 15 december. Admins kindly update the date.

Now and YH reminds me of relay sprinters. Passing on batons to each other n soon we wll cross the 1000 pages mark. Hats off to u all n espcially Westpoint. He shuda b here to hear the applause.

O kghimire! Thanx for the info. We were very eager to learn about the date of ur AOR letter. So it is taking around one month for the file to reach respective VOs. Good luck to u!

Its mean CIO is working fast on 2011 applicants.

In my opinion they are open from 2nd June.
If you call them after 3 hours today somebody should recpond you.

Why in 3 hours? I thought it's past 9am already in Sydney, they should have started already if they work today.

Well there r so many things like great many family members there, education for kid, living in a place where there is rule of law. But when I think too much it boils down to getting a chance of goin on long long drives through mountains, woods and fields of rolling grasses. For me its a thing to live n die for
