wooooooooo just want to add hapiness to this forum, i have recieved my PER today at 7:15 PM ( indian time)by email. The DD encashment date was 13 dec. I am so happy. Thanks to santa i asked today and he deliverd today. Unforgetable gift from santa on this christmas. A special THANKS to my FORUM FAMILY MEMBERS.

Dear westpoint, ravi, ur highness, and other seniors came today to bring my PER. Welcome back to home. This family is incomplete without u people. Sorry to those whom i missed to mention.

may be it's not so bad. But astoshka ,for a person who is used to coastal plains climate (current temp 27° C), using ACs all the year round , not used to multiple layers of dressing , it gets a bit too much. Anyways, If at all God almighty & CIC decides to grant me PR , I should be able to manage.

Yes, it must be a difficult change for someone like you. It takes about 3 years to adjust to a new climate, so especially in your first years you have to be very careful with cold weather - make sure your feet are always warm and dry, also keep your head and neck warm, wear gloves - just simple rules that will make your life more comfortable and protect your health. Yesterday I was going to write that even though I grew up in a cold climate I always get depressed in the beginning of winter, because I like summer so much more, but today we woke up and saw that everything is covered with snow, and I remembered how much I love snow ) it is so beautiful and so much fun ;D you might even love it some day

Please advice me as my application returned back by CIO on 28th/November/2011 as my address is in UK till now I do not receive my application so please any one has an experience with this matter advice me with the time.

Sometimes it takes 6-8 weeks for documents to return as they send it with a snail mail.

So, all friends here..we have something to learn. NER or cap reached is not the end of it and you can always make it if not the first time.

thank you dear NKKD, it is a relief, sort of a reward after the arduous attempts, NER, CAP REACHED, M1, M2, M3, tell me what else have i missed...lol i've done them all, cried, hated, got disappointed and finally, gave up everything to God...but i never gave up with my attempts to apply, i just hope and pray now that i make it, we make it till landing...

Hi Guys

I am in a serious problem! I just discovered that the date of birth in my medical form is incorrect. Is there anyone who has a similar issue? I dont think the doctor will do the medical tests with this incorrect details. How do i get it corrected? I have to plan my trip to India accordingly..
