Hello everyone!!!
I am new to this forum, or any forum for that matter. I came across your forum and saw good and useful information and I am very impressed with the sense of closeness and family-like connection of the members.

I am an LPN, and I am in the process of gathering my documents and hopefully, with the blessings of God, I will make it on time before the cap is reached.

I have a question: is possible to apply for 2 NOCs? Is CIO going to review the file and award points based on 2 NOCs. Thanks in advance!

Vida
Yes my dear, they will.
They will award you with points for every full year you have spent in any of the 29 NOCs.

Welcome to our family, and sorry about the silly joke regarding your first post ever :)

Thanxs Bbandari for ur best wishes!!!!! :D

Dear All,

Especially (Takemblues, SmGrGe, Kghimire, Big O, Mang, Luckymystery, Bbhandari, NKKD Horton, Cim, Ovais & forcabarca86)

Thanks for the good wishes. I am sure that we all who have desired to be there, will one day make it through. Sooner or later, ahead or behind others, we are all going in the same direction and Inshallah will reach our destination as long as God has destined it for us.

I also appreciate those who are managing and updating the status on the spreadsheet for each individual, as they are helping many of us to see our status and analyse where we stand and what next can be the possible outcome.

Yeah, somebody asked how I got this MR. Infact initially I got an email with the scanned letter of MR request. They also mentioned that they have couriered required documents for medical, which I am expecting to receive in the next couple of days.

Wish you all good luck.
Rehan Sami
Congratulations on getting your MR. It is great to know that the London vo are starting to send them out and thanks for the info on the email. It's great that this forum can help to put our minds at ease and make us a little more relaxed!! Good luck.

dear highness.... u r adding a lovely spirit to this forum specially that am now feeling badly very sad and hopeless,,,, all signs r -ve for me,,,, plus i've just tried to check my status online using my UCI no. and i found nothing, it gave the previous application's receiving date,,,, which mean they hadn't touch my file yet,,, and the cap 3131 has reached....

my brain was believing that i will not be in cap,,,, but my heart was always giving me a slice of hope,,,, but now it is vanished......

hope u and every1 all the best nd sure i'll continue following ur updates and praying for all.....

Helppp...I know exactly how you feel. But then it is surely better for you to accept the fact and look at alternatives to apply. You may apply for Quebec or Provincial Nominee Programme....there are several like that. You can also go there on study Visa. Look out for your alternatives Helppp, while you wait for your PER here. Incase the PER for FSW doesn't show up, you will have already lined up your plan B.
What say buddy? Makes sense?
Cheer up :-)

Hey Alaindotcom....where have you been? Nice to see you here. You've been absent for long stretches lately. I assume you are on the treadmill and lifting those dumb bells ;-) Whats your update dude?

To add to the jitter, I've been requested for an interview on January 26. The embassy is asking for documents showing my relation to my declared relative in Canada (which I already sent with my application but it was on late registration since the originals burned down during the Japanese occupation. Yes, my uncle is quite old.). And also they asked to bring other documents to prove my employment. oof.

I am not sure how to advise you with regards to the relation ship but try to bring with you an affidavit signed by your uncle with a copy of his passport to verify the signature. Any financial document from his side will go a long way to proove his status in Canada.

Take with you any new documents from your job (appraisals, quotes sent to you with your name and company name on them) as well as try to take some photos of you with some of your collegues (it would be perfect if you are wearing your uniform!).

Finally, try to be as relaxed as you can during the interview.

Good luck my dear,

quite good news in a way, somehow it gives u a window to the status of ur application and at the same time gave u an opportunity to give it ur best shot ;)

meanwhile gather all the docs required, you know it could take time in nso or in our lcr but u still have time to get em. just an unsolicited advise, make a family tree showing how ur uncle is related to u, then get all birth certs w/c shows the link. bring old and new photos too (would be better if ur included in the photo together w/ ur uncle, ur mom/dad and whoever is the link between u and ur uncle)...u can do it ;) ;) ;)

Hello Your Royal Highness. Not much happening on my side of the world. I have gotten tired of expecting any kind of update at all. But I do read the forum entries everyday. I am glad to see people getting PERs, AORs, fee charges. Some even got their MRs already. That's really good.

Other than the "we started processing your application last November 16" added to my ecas status, I have nothing else to report for the month of November, and so far, none for December to date.

I only write when the subject of chimneys come up. Nowadays, only talk of chimneys excite me. hahaha

I have my gym bag with me. I was supposed to go to the gym. But I saw a coffee shop on the way and so I decided it's best that I eat cake and drink coffee instead. :P
