Unfortunately not Planningto go. The first communication from CIC would be your PER. That takes about 90 days on an average. Till then bang your head against the wall like the rest of us....ha...ha....kidding....but seriously unless you have paid by credit card, in which case you will know when they have charged your CC, you just have to wait for your PER mail.

Planningto go You need not wait for a NER to re-submit your application for the next year. If, God forbid, you dont make it to CAP, you can go ahead and apply next year. Trust this answers your query?

Ovais brother....so what is your analysis? Why has the gap between CC and PER decreased? and how can we gain from it? Please share your thoughts with us and give some relief to our nervous veins......

highness my analysis is that completeness check is done atleast a week prior to the cc encashment. Thts when it is included within or outside the cap. I think tht these to process of completeness check n issuance of per is independantly done. Considering reply given to prapplicant tht cic is finalizing august applications doesn't mean tht completeness check of september applicant will be on a halt. I expect next week the flood gates of per will open for u guys. N I hope this is the post which will take us to page 667. Cheers!

I am losing hope after todays call. I am still hoping that I be one of the lasts in 0631. Little hope though.
Is there any other category I can apply for. I have stayed in Canada for 22 months, so CEC is also not possible.
My son is born Canadian, not sure that will help coz he is not even a year old.

Any way other than applying next year?

Is it possible for you to go again to canada on workpermit? Then you can apply under AEO category. or some provincial nominee program.I don't know your situation clearly.This is what I can think of.

If it gives you any relief....think about us 0631s from Sep 2nd week onwards...we can almost visualise our PERs slipping away.......

I think you will make it to Canada for Indian food party and white Christmas though not this year but in 2012. As your Visa can't be stamped this year but PER will be in this year. Good luck and chill.

Thanks luckymystery. Actually, I am not too concerned about spending Christmas in Toronto. I am supposed to start on a job by January 13. But it looks like I will not make it in time. That means the job goes to the next in line. Good for him... and probably a blessing in disguise for me. Since I will be starting from scratch, I will have the chance to reinvent myself and go pursue something that is allied but a little bit different from my current field.

Actually, ashtoshka is right.

To be eligible, one must have at least one year of continuous work experience in one of the 29 NOCs.

To add points for experience, one must have work experience in any NOC that is either Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades). It doesn't necessarily have to be from the 29 NOC list.

ovais.Agree with you on that. It is quite possible that completeness check of Sep applicants is not on hold. I am hoping for that too. I should have asked her that specific questions.May be if someone else calls do ask it

-dear prapplicant how is it possible that 28th August applicant received per and 31st August got charged but 1st Septemebr applicants are not processed for completenes check which is the most initial step.
-any september applicant of any NOC has not evidence of charging fee , so we can not say clearly about actual cap date of 3131 and 0631 .
- if other than 3131 and 0631 applicants of september get charged, then we can say that 3131 and 0631 are now caped.
