Thanks. The best way to query CIO is through the phone or email? I sent an email to them, the email i found in their website but i always receive failed delivery status. do you have their number just in case?

my dear if one door is closed , 10 doors are opened , if you dont fall in cap this year , you can apply next year , your application and other documents are complete , so you can resend your application on 1st of july 2012 , a no of applicants are here whose applications did not fall in cap last year , they resend it this year and fall in cap , i know a no of applicants who are waiting since ten years , we have to wait only 7 months to reapply. Finnaly i advise you dont concentrate only on immigration, a no of other opportunities are present in your own country, avail these opportunities. thanks

If ever I won't be getting any response from the CIO within this year, would mean I have to resubmit my application?or there should be an NER prior resubmitting?

Thank you prapplicant. It's almost getting on my nerves waiting and thinking about my application...At first, i told myself to just relax but now I can't keep myself from thinking about it...

Yes. CIC will send PER by mail, if you have provided your mail ID. So keep checking your inbox as well as SPAM mails. Sometimes it may just goes and sits there, while you tear your hair apart ;-)

It's almost everyday that I'm checking my email (inbox and spam) but have not yet received any ....Soon I will...i have to be positive!!!

planningtogo - You will know your when your CC has been charged. You can check your card statement online. The dates CIO is currently at it should happen in the next 3 to 4 working days.

Also given some recent examples, the gap between CC charging and PER is reducing considerably.

I just asked my sister to check her CC if it was charged already. She was advised by the customer service rep that CIO have not charged the card yet...Hopefully it's on it's way to charged.. Ü

I may have not been very clear.
To get maximum points you need to have 4 years of experience in any of the 29 NOCs.
If you have 4 years of continuous work out of which only 1 year was spent in one of the 29 NOCs then you will be awarded points corresponding to 1 year only.

Actually, ashtoshka is right.

To be eligible, one must have at least one year of continuous work experience in one of the 29 NOCs.

To add points for experience, one must have work experience in any NOC that is either Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades). It doesn't necessarily have to be from the 29 NOC list.

No not with the application but for Medicals.I was instructed to handover them to the doctor

I am losing hope after todays call. I am still hoping that I be one of the lasts in 0631. Little hope though.
Is there any other category I can apply for. I have stayed in Canada for 22 months, so CEC is also not possible.
My son is born Canadian, not sure that will help coz he is not even a year old.

Any way other than applying next year?

I think you will make it to Canada for Indian food party and white Christmas though not this year but in 2012. As your Visa can't be stamped this year but PER will be in this year. Good luck and chill.

This means there is least chance of my application(3112) to fall within cap. Already there are 262 applications for the first 2 months period(till August 31st).My application was submitted on 2nd November.

Anilch....just chill buddy. You will be in. No doubts on that.

If it gives you any relief....think about us 0631s from Sep 2nd week onwards...we can almost visualise our PERs slipping away.......

You're right ASMB. It is very active and a popular thread. To me its almost family now. Cant stay away from it for too long

But then when I visit other threads I find that there are a lot of post july applicants who are not on our spreadsheet. It will help us and them immensely if we are together on the same page. Hence this urge to promote. Havent done it yet though.

Yes my thoughts exactly.

At the same time I am also wondering why we haven't heard anything from our Aug friends as well. It seems to me that CIC has just stopped communicating with us.

Also PRapp...have you noticed that we do not have any friend here in early Sep days who have paid by CC. So there is no way of knowing if their CC has been charged. We have to wait for PER and that takes about 90 days on an average.
