Hi everyone

This is my first post on here although i have been lurking on the forum for a while now.

I have applied under cat 0631. My agent emailed yesterday saying my application had received ' a positive final determination of eligibility for processing, it has now been forwarded to London visa office for the next stage of processing'.

I know i have enough points but does this mean there will be checks to my former employers or does this mean we have passed those checks and the further processing involves security and health checks only?

I ask as i am trying to figure out the time lines involved and it is difficult to plan not knowing how far we are with the application.

Good luck to those still waiting on news.

may we know your timeline pls?

with regards to background checks, once there's a positive final determination cio forwards your files to your respective vo. Here, your VO may conduct random verification

I just received answer to email enquiry to CIO re: FSW application status. I filed under NOC 1122 received by CIO July 26.
Response is...

Returned due to CAP Reach..
time to consider other means of entry to Canada. (QSW perhaps).

What is LMO ??

It stands for Labor Market Opinion. If you have an LMO compliant job offer, you can get a working visa, and then you can just process your immigration application when you are already in Canada.

The full details can be found in the CIC website www.cic.gc.ca.

First of all, I would like to welcome Westpoint back to our thread :) we missed you dear and I see ur focusing on blue color, in hope we turn you blue soon.

Tim Hortons has finally opened its first outlet in The middle east in Dubai, so I tried it today and I got to say that there will be no more Caribou/Costa/Starbucks for me! Really good coffee and excellent bagels :)

Just wanted to share an experience and of course welcome our beloved Westpoint.

I am also Aug last week applicant. We have to wait one more month to come our turn. CIO is still busy with July third week applicants .

Thank you for that info. I've read a lot of negative post regarding august applicants esp under noc3152.. that's why i'm really scared. but i must not lose hope nit until i receive a letter from them. Good luck on us! :) thank you again.

wow, salamat sa reply! natakot naman ako :o hopefully we all got the PER. there's a lot of post in other threads that says, they have been declined bec the cap was reached, esp on noc 3152.. keeping our fingers crossed and praying for a positive outcome. God bless kabayan! :)

Everyone has to send his application to Sydney, Nova Scotia. Its compulsory. after assessment Sydney office will send application to the respective visa office and further correspondence will be with visa office only.

Hi! does anybody here knows the issue about the returned docs under 3152? because I'm an applcant under 3152 may application was sent july 27, 2011 and the CIO received my application August 4, 2011. Thanks!
Hello Kjdt,
My advice is do not listen to us when it comes to our theories regarding Cap reached. The only truth is that no one has the full truth except CIO so wait until they give you a reply (try emailing them too if you haven't done so yet: FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca ). The good news is that you NOC is bound to be back on MI4. Stay positive and do not loose hope.

I have added you to the list, please fill in the missing information such as your VO and mode of payment and please keep us posted on any updates.

Good luck dear and welcome to our thread.
