Hello guys,

I received 'PER' from CIO today morning. Please update my status in spread sheet.
Application number started with E.
Hope you guys will hear good news soon. Please keep sharing your valuable inputs and information for mutual benefit.

Good news today came in the form of an email just before 4pm. We finally received our PER, after our fees were taken on Aug 2nd. Very happy and relieved. The journey is not over yet until we get those visas in our passports of course...

just a clarification...whats the difference between PCC and police certificate?

both are same .. Police Clearance Certificate or Police Certificate

Next, CIC will transfer your file / application along with all the attachments to your VO (Visa Office-London). It will take another month (depends upon location of your VO).. Another month or two will be taken from your VO (vary as respective VO) to check the documents and call for an interview if they have some doubts --> if all clear, then your interview may get waived and you will rec Medical Forms and Letter. --> After Medicals it will take another 2 months to take the decision (depends upon your/dependents medical reports)... After decision, VO will ask you to submit PP (Pass Port) for VISA and within 15 days you will get visa printed on yoru Pass Port...... Then as per validity you will land to CANADA....... and yes, will meet me.... dont forget the last step..... heheheheh

I understand from reading this forum that PER is sent always by e-mail. Do they also send anything by courier?? What if e-mail ends up in the SPAM folder, and people forget to check it??

Hi good day to all!
1) I just want to confirm if I will need to fill up the IMM0008DEP, because i only have 1 dependant which is my wife. I believe it should be filled up if the dependants are more than 5..? Pls correct me if im wrong.

2) Regarding the assets, is it an advantage if you put large amount of asset? Because what I am thinking is I will indicate all my money i have today plus additional 1 year that i will be earning, since the application will run almost 1 yr.

Or is there no any difference if you indicate small or large figyres of your assets?
