Congratulations Possie, really happy for you....

Now they send your files to your VO for background checks, then they send you a request for Medicals and Police Clearance certificates.... shortly after that they send you a request for your passport and they finally stamp your Visa.... then you have a white Christmas :)

Thanks, would love to have a white christmas. I already sent police certificates with my application, do you think they will ask for new ones?

Hi
I received an email confirming that I got my PER today, really excited. Can anyone tell me what is next in the process?
Thanks for your help ;D
Congratulations......... Possie... :) :) :)

Thanks to everyone for sending their congratulations and I hope everyone starts to get good news soon aswell!

either cic is creating a lot of confusion or we are more than anxious to know status of our application.

i have a strong feeling that those whose applications were sent back were due to Incomplete Application and due to some error they are getting mails of Cap filled.

but its really confusing...on one hand someone whose application was received on 14th july gets his application along with the draft returned....and on the other hand someone whose application has reached on the same 14th july gets his BD encashed.

The wait for clearing confusion is killing.

doesnt matter if i make to the cap or not...i just want to have the final verdict. am i in or am i out.

GOOD NEWS...I called CIC now and they told me that my application has been initially accepted and my cc was encashed yesterday (Sep 20th), they said im about to receive an e-mail from them (the PER)...:)
Im sooo happy....thx Jesus

pls update my info in the spreadsheet...

I received my PER today

1. Can any one tell me what is next after receving PER (1st AOR). I think file will be transfered to Visa Office right?
2. But online eCAS still showing "application received" only. what is the next status & When status will be changed?
3. I didn't submit PCCs with application, is this good time to start applying for PCC?

Right

Normal, it will show like that for now until it is received by VO
3. I didn't submit PCCs with application, is this good time to start applying for PCC?
No, still too early as background checks could take anywhere between 3 to 5 month (depending on where you are from and what kind of activities you've been part of.

Congratulations dear, please find the replies above in Bold Blue wish us all a smooth sailing for the rest of the process dear,
