based on the experiences of some post June 26, 2010 applicants who are now in Canada, you will need network who could refer you for possible job opportunities, enrol in bridging program (so u can practise your profession there), get Canadian experience even if it means getting odd jobs (for your first few months upon arrival so that you do not spend your fund as much as possible), you need to be frugal in ur spending...

Well, I need some advise here.

My case is a bit peculiar. I am a case of NER turned into PER with the Grace of BABA All Mighty. My PER was recieved by me on 8th Nov 2011 and the AOR came 28th Nov. I am a 1122 case with Manila VO. However, at the time of my Application ( July 2011 ) , I was in Manila hance selected Manila as my VO. However, Now, I am not in the Philippines as my company has asked me to be in India until further notice. I have communictaed the same to Manila VO and have not heard from them as yet.

My ECAS status shows In Process and upon opening, it says " A decision has been made on your application and the office will contact you concerning the same " . This line was not there until 2 days ago but upon checking today, I have this line added there.

I am a bit anxious . Will REALLY APPRECIATE your all feedback and comments.

Thanks again and wishing everybody in the game , all the very best

welcome Kabayan, ur PPR is getting near, most of all VISa...

Just want to share with you that a lot of my Post June 2010 contemporary applicants who are now residing in Canada, and a lot of my CANADIENNE relatives shared that the first few months would really be a "struggle", but after all that, things will be "smooth sailing". A lot of them are now (in 14-16 months) enjoying jobs in their field of specialization, some have successfully hurdled the crne, some are in the oil industry...and they say they are happy with their decision to move over there...

they advise future immigrants to persevere, never give up, never lose hope and fervently pray and keep the faith...

in the end...all will be well

Hey alan,

Do u have to worry finding a replacement for your job? The race's just beginning but be rest assured that many have crossed that hurdle and are just comfortable as they wanted now.

You definitely have to be skeptical moving to unknown region which is just like starting all over again when u don't have a job on ground waiting for you. I do feel your worries and I'm telling u, u gonna survive and reach your goal. U seem determined and I admire the zeal.

Best wishes. Praying-for-the-loss-in-philipines!

Thank you fazeme.. for the 1) vote of confidence, and 2) for your prayers for the those affected by flooding in southern Philippines. :)
