Hi Peepz!

I just want to update.
I had my Medical Exams last November 21-22, 2011 and yesterday, December 8, 2011, my ECAS has been updated to:
"Medical exams results were received."

That was the only update I got from them!
How about those who had their Medical Exams last November 2011? Have your ECAS statuses been updated by your VO's?
Please share! Thanks!
Regards,
;D

thanks for the update Kazuhiro ;) once there is an additional "a decision has been made" it would mean PPR/RPRF next, so get ur things ready for Canada ;) ;) u might hear that hopefully before the month ends ;) ;) ;)

i read ur post and question on what this means: "We will send you the appropriate form upon reception of the documents listed below." this means u have to submit first all the documents that they are asking from you before they send the forms (MR for spouse) to you

and what are these documents that they are asking? these are, to quote (marooned color):

We will send you the appropriate form upon reception of the documents listed below.

In order to add your spouse to your application, we require the following documents:

processing fee for your spouse (if accompanying you to Canada)
notarized birth certificate of your spouse
copy of your spouse's valid passport
recent photographs of your spouse according to the specifications
a notarized “no” criminal activity certificate for your spouse
a completed application kit with all the requirements
updated IMM0008 Generic and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself.
a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your spouse ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp).

Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required.
All documents must be sent to our office by mail.

You know I am...I almost hired a consultant and also gave a small joining fee (which never got refunded to me, thats alright), and then I bumped across this Forum while browsing for Canadian Immigration Advice. And after I saw the value of this forum, I ditched my consultant (and left her crying and hungry for the rest of my fees) and did it all on my own. By all on my own, I mean with help from all the members here, who selflessly adviced and guided me.

Thats why I am hell bent on helping anyone I can, and get great pleasure if someone finds my support and assistance helpful. Thisis a way to give back to this forum :-)

You know i didn´t even know what a consultant was when i started getting my documents. But I am glad i didn´ t look for one cause the same thing happened to me. Somehow i found this forum and I was so happy. It is worth millions not only in information but most of all in friendship and honesty. And as you mention the members here are wonderful. Thank you and everyone for doing what they do for others not expecting anything in return. That is WONDERFUL!!!
I am glad i met you and the rest. Thank god I am part of this journey and you know this forum is like therapy. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN HERE!!!
I have learned many things from everyone. Thank you again for your help and for being here.

hi Arjun_singh,

first of all let me give u a warm welcome for ur interest in immigrating to Canada and for posting ur query here. let me share what we did w/ our papers.

we got certificate of employment from the human resources, letter states what the duties and responsibilities are, years of employment covered, salary per month or years, (benefit if there is/are), time and days spent (like monday - friday 8am to 12nn, 2pm to 5pm for example). then we attached to support this claim notarized copies of check payments (for services rendered), and service contract.

since we're also into private practise, we also included receipts of dental supplies, letters from suppliers acknowledging they know us, we're their clients for how long already and the kind of business transactions we have, mode of payment. same thing w/ our px, treatment they underwent, mode of payment, and when this things transpired. Comments from them were likewise elicited. We also submitted notarized copies of tax returns, business permits (if u have), professional regulation id, health insurance...

imo, i think it is best to submit along w/ ur app kit, documents proving ur experience (even if they are not mentioned in the document checklist). this is what we did, i hope it helped u somehow and the rest of those who are planning to submit their applications.

another thing,an unsolicited advise, it would be best if u could submit ur application this week and not wait for 2 more weeks. time is of the essence. hope u make it to the cap. ;)

Thanks for the response friends.

I will try and send my application as soon as possible.
hopefully by 15th dec.

Regards,
Dr. Shalini

Hi Dear,
But i think RAVI must seal his lips permanently .
This is a public forum , its good to have humour but its realy bad to make fun of other mamebers of this forum.
I know i am just throwing a stone in the mud lol
God bless u dear Ravi.

I dont post regularly because i dont have much to tell now since i am 19 oct applicant and its still one more month from now when i will get to hear from CIO
But i do follow this thread actively

I dont think that Ravi makes fun of other people
He is one of the most entertaining members of this forum
And he is one of the guys who is not afraid to speak the truth
I dont no how u came to the conclusion that he makes fun of other people
I think you are the only one who has this negative opinion about Ravi

hi Zeeshan,
The number given in the CIC website is total no. of Complete applications received.
First they will check for completeness of application. If application is complete they will count it towards cap and DD will be cashed.
If application is incomplete they will return it.
Next step is eligiblity review: They will check in detail regarding duties for that NOC category, Proof of funds and other criteria etc. Then they will give either positive eligibility review(PER) or negative eligiblity review(NER). If somebody gets NER, the fee charged will be refunded after applying for refund.
I have read all these things from this forum only.I used to think that the total complete applications received shown at CIC website as current. I don't have any idea before that there will be some backlog.

I think, you would be definitely in. Because you are within 4 weeks of present completeness check.
I have applied on november 2nd. I only have chance if applications slow down.
