Hello All,
I have received my MR less than 30 minutes ago.
I cannot describe my happiness so I won't say anything.

I got it through snail mail. It is dated 23rd of November, whilst my ecas line says that they have started processing my application on the 22nd of Nov.

I am one step closer to our White Christmas! Love u all

Buffaloes are thick skinned . You know CanadaJimmy had to warn Buffalo VO that he would make an official complaint against them before they turned his application to "In Process".

Are you serious? can someone really do that? I should get connected to this guy right now. Do they have to be reminded of what they need to do. FSWs are a special lot and a very small portion of the total # of immigrants that are issued PRs every year and still this delay. I would say that buffalo would have got no more than 200 applications in MI3 so far and still the tardiness . Buffalo was forwarded a lot of its MI 1 files to other VOs in USA-Mew York, Seattle, LA and Detriot. I thought they might speed up the MI2 and MI 3 process but still no updates in the MI2 thread as well. I wish the applicant could request a change of VO as per eligibility but unfortunately that is not accepted except for reasons of program integrity.

Hey mayankpt, review your earlier post (congrats to Big O) and modify it . The quote is not in a box and hence the confusion.

The latest cap update of noc has made it a photo finish for the september 0631 applicants. Let's hope all our friends here have made it cause technically it is capped. Will keep my fingers crossed.

I just received below reply for my application status inquiry which was sent on 17 Nov,2011.

Be advised application is currently awaiting processing. You will be contacted in due course.

When i check it, the status shows IN PROCESS - We received your application for permanent residence on September 12, 2011.


Can i expect a PER based on this or are there still chances for an NER too??? pls advise.

As per FEDEX, my application was delivered on Sep 09, but on ECAS it says Sep 12.

I accept that - it is capped...they are only waiting and recounting to announce that. I wish caps are counted after PERs. More applicants will have a chance. That will be more appropriate. In my view that will be more appropriate. I assume there will be atleast 10% NERs in each NOC.
