Reading Ecas is like reading yesterday's newspaper. The only VO that has an ecas that somewhat makes sense is Manilla, but then again, they make sense at all levels.

That is still good news, Phil. That is one letter I will not receive since I already sent my police clearances along with my original application pack. I hope you get your MR soon.

The guide says that unless been requested, applicant is unnecessary to submitting police clearance certificate of Canada with the application. That's why I had not even in the very first prepared the appilication for getting that. I never realized that I would be requested before MR coming.......
My whole package of applying Electronic Fingerprinting had been delivered to the consellor who could transfer my ink-paper fingerprinting to digital one that can accelerate the speedy of getting police clearance from RCMP from weeks to days...

NOC 0631 - 498 (CIC has a thing for publishing data like this. It was 499 for NOC 3131).

So 498 it is, with no news of my PER yet. Wondering whats in store for me..... :

I am in...I am out...I am in...I am out...(chanting this....plucking out petals from a flower...and the last petal corresponding to my chant is what my fate is)...I've now been reduced to playing this ridiculous game we would play as little children!!!

Phil...dont you worry buddy. Even we havent enclosed the Principal Applicant's PCC with our initial package. I dont think that would slow down the processing of your file. A friend (Indira Prab) was one of the fatest to get Visa from the MI2 batch. They hadnt included PCC either.

So chill buddy. Infact it is a relief to know they are working on your file, isnt it?

Dear Parag, my application reached cic at 26 th sep, NOC same as you, I hv send an enquiry at 23 rd nov,wating response from CIC. It's very difficult now to say whether we are in cap or not but always hope for the best. My opinion, you might be in the cap.We have to wait more two weeks to know what's on our fate.Still sleep and eat well.Wish you are in cap and soon get the good news. All the best my friend.

Welcome to the thread

A lot of NOC 3152 (nurse) applicants, whose applications have reached CIC after 21st of July, havent heard from CIC. There are some whose applications have been returned due to CAP REACHED.

So there is a possibility that the CAP for nurse was reached around 20th to 21st July. I would suggest you write in to CIC and ask for an update. But please note that CIC takes about 3 weeks to respond to mails. You may also call them up and get update. I would urge you to do that.

Yes Russell....I do feel like I am in (my last petal said so too )....but then one can never be sure until PER shows up in the inbox!!! I have a feeling you are in too and also Infiant. Beyond that I am not sure.

No I haven't sent any enquiry, as I have always believed (from response some of our friends here have rcvd from them), the call centre and mail agents at CIC have obsolete data with them. At least 2 to 3 weeks old. That confuse people rather than providing relief. So I have saved myself that added tension. If the query is like that of Robstel82, then it helps mailing and calling CIC. Otherwise not....I would think!

hi bro since ur london office and our timeline quit same! What ur ecas show RBVO or in process cus mine still RBVO even didn't rcvd any aor from vo!

My ecas is updated on the track sheet (link below my profile name).
I went straight into in process few days after receiving my PER but I should note here that almost everyone experienced the same thing at the same time.

Few days ago, Smgre and I got a new line on our ecas "we started processing your application on Nov 22nd" but am not sure if anyone else from LVO got the same update.
Meanwhile, one other LVO applicant got his medical request!

Finally, note that it is normal for ecas status to differ from one applicant to another, especially if they applied under different streams.

by the way what did your ecas status show all these days.

My ecas status still shows "In Process" and Received your application on July 18, 2011 for the past 50 days.
