Well...
1) looks like cio finally managed to close the gap! Or,
2) they have changed the way they update the website (i.e. before they encash)

Let us wait and see...

i think there will not be any delay in the cap update of ph-d (followed u by seprerate team) coz there is no waiting list for this category, but for fsw there is a delay becoz of the backlog....

I thought about that, but there is no way for them to figure out which category the file falls under (they don't ask for the NOC number to be written on the envelop anymore)

ok, i think files r opened immediately as they received to know the category or the noc, if ph-d then goes direct to its responsible team and they start processing it at the same moment (coz there is no backlog), and if fsw, they send each noc to its team where it is put in the queue so there is a delay which maybe weeks...

Its been a while since my last visit to this thread & the spread sheet
OMG so much has changed and so many new members
The spread sheet is so colorful with all the updates in status
Congrats to all who got PER, AOR & MR and a special congrats to Zelda82 on finalizing the Medicals, wish to all of us to get the same swift progress.
Looks like the process is going to be much faster than used to be and I hope that all Visa offices will be as fast as Manila, Colombo & Paris
For those who unfortunately got NER, wish you better luck next time, don't give up and re-apply as soon as possible, there is one applicant on our local forums who got NER for lack of some documents, he got the needed documents and re-applied within a month of NER - that is the spirit
Not forgetting our admins, you guys are great with out you we will be lost, great job, well done.

Unfortunately I have no updates on my status from my ecas it still reads
We received your application for permanent residence on July 5, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 8, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
This even though I got AOR from VO a couple of month ago - Oct 4th and ecas shows "In Process" since Oct 9th after showing RBVO for about a week.
Is the normal? when should I expect MR?
I tried to look on different spread sheets but I could not get a good indication as to times of the Tel-Aviv VO – I would appreciate any input on the matter.

Also I had a recent look as to the meaning of the ecas status, I'm not sure but there seems to be some change mainly in "In Process" plz guys have a look

Application received by MIKE the 30th of August.
Application starts with letter E
It also says that the email also " acknowledges receipt of payment dated Nov. 17."

Thank you guys for all of your support!

I've stated earlier that my application was not that straightforward BUT definitely this was not a part of it I had in mind and that is why I'm so confused.

I will not go into details of my application right now because it will not do any good for you I'm sure.

Rest of you waiting for PER keep up with positive attitude! I will try to investigate what went wrong with mine and if there are any turnovers, you guys will be second to know (sorry, family first! ...)

Yes there is.
When file is received by CIO it is opened and date is stamped on the front page of the IMM008 form on the very same day.
So it is clear they open the package when it is delivered to them but they do not process it.
Processing is done date wise.

So when CIO sees that the received file if of PhD category they process it bypassing the fsw1 applicants..........
