Another call by my colleague here to the CIC. I am so confused

They said they are currently reviewing 26th August received applications. Nothing has been done for September applications. Not even a completeness check.

Oh...I just dont believe this. Call Centre agents have data of only people whose details have been updated in their database. And details will not be updated in their database until completeness check is done and CC/BD is charged. They do not keep data of applicants whose applications they return because of CAP reached. So logically those will not be entered in the database.

This explains why the call centre agents always give obsolete information. There have been instances in this very thread where some friend had called up CIC and they mentioned that they are working on applications of such and such date (the date being a far cry from his application date) and the next day he rcvd his PER or CC got charged or something like that. I cant remember exactly who it was, but you may check back on the posts. There have been other instances also where the agents have given obsolete info.

So dont get hassled by what the call centre tells you. Do your own analysis....make calculated decisions based on the experience of our forum members. And chill!

We are already in buddy!

I am and Helppp

Pls read my post to PRapp. That will relieve your nerves I'm sure. Cheers

I totally agree with bhandari. Prapplicant plz get a hold on ur nerves n don't confuse others. If they r at 27 august then how does forax n la piafetta got their PER.

Bhandari and Ovais...absolutely correct!! We have proof that the call centre agents are equipped with obsolete data right here in our forum ( La Piafetta and Forax)!!

Gentlemen,

I am sharing what the CIC agent told. I have no intention to confuse anybody. I am also confused.

I totally understand what you are going thru....we are in the same boat brother (infact I am one day later than you). But just look at the statistics of our friends in this forum and that will tell you, we have nothing to worry about. Just wait till you get your PER. It should be around 2nd to 3rd week of Dec.

In case your bank can actually give you encashment date, nothing like it. But in India, they do not have this provision. And again there have been forumers whose banks have said that their DD has been encashed, but actually it wasnt (satish I think).

Dear Friend,

I am sure to say that the agent is not giving right information. It is because one of my friend telephoned me that he got his PER. His application was received on 2nd September.

See how your agent is giving us the right information???.

Be ready for rains/floods of PER this week and next week too.

Cheers ! Cheers!! Cheers!!!!

:D :D :D

WOW...WOW...WOW....Bhandari....WHAT A WONDERFUL NEWS!!! Are you absolutely sure about this? I mean is it PER letter or some other letter? Sometimes in our excitment we may tend to get confused, thats why I'm asking. Not meaning to doubt you. Please buddy, do re-confirm.

And what date was his CC/BD charged?

I am nervous. No doubt about it. That is why I try to call CIO everyday. I am impatient by nature too.
However whatever I hear I do want to share with the group.

There are still some Aug applicants wondering why they havent heard from CIO. They were happy to hear my update.
I agree with all your analysis and also I am on the same thoughts, what beats me is that I have not seen a single September PER yet.

2nd AOR comes from your VO (Visa Office) when they rcv your application from CIC Sydney.

Yes...I think so too. The average has been 3 applications per day (including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays). So we have another 14 days to go. It should close by dec 14th!

Dear Ovais,

A very big thanks for making -up with Prapplicant. I quite appreciate your efforts towards ensuring that our dear ones are all included in the Cap despite the fact that you have received your PER.

Life is all about sharing, giving, listening and loving. There is nothing joy the heart as been loved.

They are all in buddy,i will join you in prayers for speedy and smoother PR timelines.

Always,

i did,,,,, thanxxxxxx

oh thanx spicey.
i thank God for recieving PER but the wait for the next step is makin me very nervous. these days i am trying to figure out as to wht happens at the VO stage. will the CIO eligibility assessment be considered final as it is stated in the PER letter or the whole process is repeated again at VO stage. Moreover LVO applicants are going In Process straight away. i dont know whts the difference.

so, u say that u still have time for ur fees to be encashed before 14 december as u calculated, and if not encashed till that date, u r not in cap?

Thanks so much for sharing all updates here. Thats the very idea of this Forum. And you have been contributing no doubt :-)
As you are aware now the CIC gives a "positive final determination" unlike in the past where they used to give only AOR (acknowledgement of reciept). So the scrutiny now is detailed. There may be appls with slightly higher complications which take up more time. There are other straightforward applications that go thru really fast. Hence the difference.
Yes...it beats me too that no Sep appl has rcvd PER. Thats whats getting my goat too. But Bhandari did share his friend's update. So thats some consolation.
