I got PER on 24th Oct 2011.

My address disappeared this week, eCas is still showing In Process.


Any idea what is going around ?? do you think this is for good cause ???

Hi my fsw2 application was recieved on August 17th and i have just learned that cic attempted to take payment on Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th...which was blocked by my bank as it was coming from outside alberta :'( I have contacted call centre and sent email..just wondering if anybody know what might happen nest :'(

What is the mode of payment ? BD/DD or credit card ?

Firstly, you should have notified your credit card customer care that you are expecting an oncoming CAD transaction of x amount. What was the response from the call center agent? I hope they will reconsider your application and make another attempt to send it. Please stay in touch with the forum so that someone can help you when you have a situation like this . Also, spend some time reading others posts so that you know what to expect next. Wish you luck!

Did you call your credit card customer care and tell them that you are expecting an oncoming international transaction? If you have not done so far, I suggest you to do that immediately. They usually put a note on your account and this will prevent them from declining CIC's transaction.

Thank you for your response, i had spoken with the credit card care centre several times about this upcoming transaction and never once did they say i needed to authorise payment, as it was from inside canada i assumed it would be ok....the call centre agent was very nice and said that they may try again for payment as the reply would not have been insufficient funds, she went off to check before giving me that answer, so i am hoping against hope that she knows that for a fact!!

On the plus side we now know they are on August 17 applications and i know my package is all ok, the downside is it will delay application....i have read alot of posts on this since finding out, i was wondering if anybody knew specifically how long it may take them to return the package.

OK, found your information and added you to the spreadsheet. Thanks for giving your status updates. You are very close to being capped and hurray you made it.

So, right now CIC is processing mid august applicants. It seems the difference between fee encashment and PER is reducing significantly.
