received an email today
I would like to inform you that we have received 1 returned application package last Wednesday, October 20, 2011 from the Paranaque Postal Service. This application is for our client, a Registered Nurse, filed under the Ministerial Instructions 3 and sent via DHL last July 15, 2011 which was received last July 20, 2011 by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) Nova Scotia, Canada as per report by DHL – courier company.
The application form that was returned together with the documents submitted was stamped received by the FSW Mailroom CIC Sydney, July 20, 2011 however attached to it is the letter addressed to the client dated 26 September 2011 informing that “her application was received after the maximum of 500 complete Federal Skilled Worker applications per NOC 3152 was reached”.
The posting on the www.cic.gc.ca website regarding the applications received toward the overall cap as of September 19, 2011 for NOC 3152 is 499 applications received. However please take note that below the numbers posted on their website it mentioned that “figures are meant as a guide only and there is no guarantee that an application sent in now will fall within the cap”.
If we will follow the above letter of the CIO and their guidelines, would mean that as of July 15, 2011 the visa office received a total of 500 applications already despite their first posting dated July 21, 2011 that NOC 3152 received was 26 applications only. And with this, the said client application was returned for reason of cap reached.
As of this date based on the reports previously sent regarding the applications given the assessment (whether eligible or non-eligible) by CIO the latest case submitted with decision was filed July 12, 2011 therefore for July 15 filed case the above client is our first case opened and returned due to cap reached.
From July 01 to September 30, our office was able to file a total of 477 applications for NOC 3152 – Registered Nurse. From July 01 – 14, our total filed cases (NOC 3152) were 107 applications while from July 15 to September 30 we have a total of 370 applications subject for return and may not be included in the quota of 500 applications.
As of now, this information is not yet a matter of menace because of this 1 case. Situation may change and we will have clear understanding on how CIO assess our clients under the NOC 3152 once we have further updates from the Centralized Intake Office (CIO), Nova Scotia.
cap reached before july 20 .
im very low in moral now. i want to kill somebody.
innovation just include me in your prayers (that's more than enough). Thanks.innovation said:Thanks a lot RKC for your valuable time, by the way how can i rate you , i tried to but could get link to rate you.
I can totally understand what you must be going thru right now. But please do not lose hope. Nurse is so much in demand. It will surely be in demand next MI as well. Its just a matter of time before you find yourself in Canada!!Guikegod1 said:Sigh. A very very sad case for us Nurses who applied beyond July 15. Turns out that you can't really rely on their website. What a waste. Oh well, there's still next year.
Goodluck to those who were able to receive PER's! GodBless!

Our best prayers are always with you bro. Just relax n chill. 8) I have feelings you will have it sooner.steelz said:@ jijitipie , thank you dear and congrats for yr per, i called my advisor last night and he explained to me the situation , he told me that he had been into the CIO premises once , every agent has quota of applications, some agents are slow and some are fast , it could get an agent 5 days in single application , to investigate or if its complicated and some applications could get only half of his day , i guess my application has reached an agent with some backlog, i believe its matter of days.
needs yr prayers friend

I wish you to lose this race 8) caz sometimes losing some races gives this ;D to friends 8)
All the very best..............
I did the same. Used PA in both forms and I got PER.spicey said:Thank you RKC,
In my previous application,we actually used the PA as the applicant for the duo and it was not returned.
Just needed to clear some air as we still adopted the former in our current submission.
According to Spread sheet it takes 3-4 weeks to reach to Visa office. And I have my documents already verified from Higher Education Commission and foreign affairs ministry. Rest i'll ask seniors after my medicals.steelz said:hahahahahahaha , i wish i loose this race also , we will see , have you got RBVO yet ? start locating physician certified by CIC
enjoy the journey , i believe the most important step in the whole process is yr PER , have you started getting your qualifications recognised?
good luck dear
CIC might be thinking of long weekend this time, so not sending any new PER's Today... LOLKghimire said:Hi friends !
